"I liked the Czar Lisbon Hotel. There are several eateries and supermarkets near the hotel. I could stock up on water and other essential stuff. It is also easy to hire Uber. Burger King and pharmacy is just opposite the hotel. Hotel also provided the travel adapter upon request. Hotel has a restaurant on the same level as the reception with a wide variety of food in the menu. The toilet is nice and huge for two."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Lumen and had a really great experience. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are delightfully spacious and modern, much larger than what you usually find, with comfortable king size bed. The bar deserves a special mention: they serve excellent drinks and cocktails, perfect for unwinding in the evening at also to see the lightshow from or going out to the patio Location-wise, it's very convenient depending on your plans – close to metro and within easy reach of both the city center and other areas. Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!"

"It was a good stay. Hotel was maintain very well with being hygienic, clean and very helpful staff. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was amazing had options for vegetarian"

"I stayed one night at this hotel for a weekend training course. The hotel is ideal for this type of thing, it has good rooms and good parking spaces and an underground garage. The breakfast was good, complete, I didn't lack anything. The lunches in the context of the training were also good, I was surprised by the absence of wine or beer (possibly it's part of the terms of the training entity, because it's a training course). The hotel bar is welcoming, the staff are friendly. I liked it. Generously sized outdoor pool, and children's pool. The only disadvantage is its location, on a national road. As for that, nothing to be done."

"Location is perfect, close to everywhere. Room is clean and the staff is friendly. It’s been my third time to stay in this hotel. However, this time I have some suggestions for the hotel to improve. The room should provide basic things like facial tissue (only toilet paper is provided). Also, the hotel should have a system to check if the clients are still in the room. Staff should not enter when clients are still in the room in early morning. It doesn’t make sense if the client always need to put “do not disturb” the night before."

"A pleasant stay for 2 nights. Reception was very helpful and pleasant. Room was not ready when I check in at 4pm. And they offer me some nice butter cookies . Room was clean. Mattress was comfortable!  When I had problem locking my room door, they send the hotel guy to help me look into the issue. It was coz I did not use enough strength to turn the knob to lock it. Case resolved immediately. While I did not require my room to be disturbed, they offered to change my towels. Nice gestures. Location definitely excellent, just above the metro station, Marques De Pombal. Very centrally located , near a huge park and near the city!!"

"We had room 410 with a lovely view over the city to the castle and church, a really wide, comfortable bed, and everything you could need (safe, refrigerator, hairdryer, water, coffee). Modern bathroom. The only downside was the breakfast, which had a limited selection and was of average quality at best (e.g., coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon)."

"A big shopping mall, metro, train, and bus stations are all very close to the hotel. We took FlixBus from Porto, and it only took us about 5 minutes to walk to the hotel from the bus station. The metro ride to the airport is also only around 10 minutes, so the location is extremely convenient! The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom, which looked a little old compared to the modern design of the room. Overall, though, we had a very pleasant stay."

"First off, the breakfast was delicious, but perhaps Portuguese food is generally good. The location is super convenient for catching the metro and bus; it's a 2-5 minute walk to the station. I vaguely remember reading reviews saying the rooms were hot, but it's not hot now. The AC works really well. When I first got to the hotel, the mirror near the elevator startled me, but once inside the room, it felt fine and had enough space. However, when night came, it was incredibly uncomfortable. It was so dim. And not 'cozy dim,' but rather 'exhausting, gloomy, unsettling dim.' It's genuinely different from some hotels with mood lighting; trust me, there's a big difference between unchosen dimness and intentional dimness. Turning on all the lights didn't help at all. I called the front desk to ask for a desk lamp (there was one in the room, but it was useless and so dim it was uncomfortable even to look at my phone). I barely got a few words out before they hung up on me. But shortly after, a male staff member came up, took a look, but said there were no extra light sources available. He suggested turning on the TV for more light, and even he admitted after turning it on, 'It doesn't seem to help much...' Trip.com's concierge replied to me but didn't offer a solution. I was too tired to bother anymore, as my luggage was already unpacked. Personally, I don't think this hotel is worth its price. I had picked out a few other hotels earlier, but they were all fully booked because I booked late, so I had to book this one last minute. I recommend everyone book several days in advance. I booked this place hastily at 3 PM the same day and checked in in the evening. It's the only hotel on my European trip that left a bad impression. I regret it. The staff's attitude overall wasn't bad, but it was the first time someone hung up on me. And there are mirrors everywhere, which is really different from what I'm used to."
