We chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near the ferry terminal and airport, with ample free parking. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly, offering us a late check-out, which we appreciated. Our room was very quiet, with a lovely ocean view, far from the restaurant and conference halls. However, the room itself was quite dated, different from the photos shown on the website, and the bathroom was cramped, with little legroom when using the toilet. The room was also very hot in late September. No fan in the room. We had to leave the window open overnight. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with decent variety. Despite the excellent location, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again due to the room’s discomfort.

I had no problem with this hotel. Room was spotless apart from the hairdryer. Location is perfect. Supermarket round the corner for cheaper food. Also one in shopping center behind hotel. Next to the harbour. Reception was always happy snd cheerful. I rented a car from literally round the corner. Use getaround app. Breakfast was brilliant. Can't beat a bacon egg roll. Smoothie was lush as well. If I could have one thing for the room it would have to be a fridge.

The location is not in the city center, so the price is relatively cheap. The DNB Arena bus station is more than 100 meters away from the hotel door. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel via FB40. Several buses go to the city center, which is only a 10-minute drive. This hotel has the highest rating in Stavanger on several platforms. On the day of check-in, I found that the price was the lowest in the past two months, so I cancelled my previous reservation and switched to this one. The price is similar, but the airport bus and the bus to Pulpit Rock are just downstairs from this hotel, which is much more convenient.
