"The room was big, clean, and cool. 😄😄 There was just a strong monkey smell outside the room, not inside. I hope the hotel can put out more air fresheners. 😅😄 .. I'll definitely come again next time. ❣️"

"On our way back to Kuala Lumpur from Genting, we deliberately took a detour to stay at this chateau hotel near Colmar Tropicale, and it turned out to be the most delightful 'chill-out' spot of our trip. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to Colmar Tropicale, and the surrounding trails are perfect for leisurely strolls, leaving us feeling completely refreshed by the end of the day. I must particularly rave about the dining! For dinner, I initially went for a creative set menu featuring dishes similar to 'raw-marinated, cooked-marinated' style, but unfortunately, the chef was off that day. We opted for two other options instead, and they were absolutely divine – the French onion soup was so rich I wished I could have another bowl, and the fries were the crispiest I've ever had, a true delight for those who appreciate details. The post-dinner dessert and mung bean soup also defied expectations; I've had countless versions of these, but the flavors here were the most satisfying and not at all cloying. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, and I ordered so many egg dishes that I was stuffed. The Malaysian sausages seemed to be made of pure meat, which gave them a fantastic texture. I highly recommend having all three meals at the hotel; relaxing with good food and drinks is the perfect vacation. The check-in service here also felt like 'royal treatment,' with the front desk staff giving us a guided tour and explanation of the entire chateau. It was thoughtful and thorough. Although the room wasn't large, it was cozy, quiet, and had an excellent view. We were upgraded to the top floor, despite it not being a high-rise building. This place is perfect for a honeymoon or simply a few days of relaxation. I would definitely visit again."

"We enjoyed our stay, as there are a lot of amenities to be found here. Two very large room for a family of 4, a dining table, and a large living room. Love the private toilet in the master bedroom. A lot of choices to be found at breakfast. Very good egg. Nasi lemak was mid, weird sambal taste. Good dessert. Kelapa jelly was my favourite. Love the infinity swimming pool. But unlucky for us that we came during haze season so we couldn’t really see the beautiful ocean from the pool. But all good. We had fun. Thanks so much for a good stay. Cons: We had to take the trolley by ourselves. And just when we finished putting our bags on the trolley, the staff came and picked it up. It just feels weird that we had to do all that by ourselves. Aren’t they supposed to just be ready near the trolley to assist us? And the same thing happened during checkout too. But thank you. All the best, Swiss-Belhotel."

"Had a lovely stay wt the family. Overall was ok,though may I suggest the hotel to open up area for breakfast esp during peak season (school holiday and PH)as there was a long queue. Even when we came early before 7.30am,the restaurant was almost filled up. Also ,the hotel should also have a place to get towels at the 2nd pool,we didn't get to use the pool towels since it was at the other pool area. The beach was nice and clean."

White sandy beaches, cool ocean breeze, landscaped gardens, and lush verdant trees – these are just some of our favourite things here at Adena Beach Resort. And we think you’ll agree. Conveniently located on the coastline of Pantai Balok in Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort houses a total of 126 rooms set in a tranquil environment that combines both the simple comforts of modern living with the traditional aesthetics of local village life. With a variety of different accommodation options and a host of family-friendly facilities, Adena Beach Resort is the ideal beachfront getaway for those looking to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate.

"This place is in an attractive and strategic location. It has a private beach with beautiful views and no traffic noise – very peaceful. There are swimming pools for both children and adults. For the kids' pool, there's no entertainment, so you'll need to bring your own pool toys if you want your children to play. There are many room types available and they are very comfortable. You can ask the resort for advice on room selection, as some rooms face the beach and some don't. Some require using a lift, while others allow you to park your car right next to the room. Regardless, always ask the resort for advice on the type of accommodation. This resort is also senior-friendly because it's mostly flat, without many stairs to climb. Breakfast is commensurate with the price. It's a standard open-air resort, so don't expect 5-star hotel standards. But overall, my friends and I are very satisfied. We might try a different room type next time."

"Our stay at Grand Ion Delemen Genting Highlands was honestly abit disappointing. I booked through Trip.com and requested the highest floor immediately after booking, but we were only given a lower-floor room. We were later informed that such requests need to be made 1–2 days before check-in, which wasn’t mentioned during the booking process. The biggest disappointment was finding out that the swimming pool was closed for renovation only after we arrived. This was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. It would really help if the hotel clearly informed guests in advance about ongoing renovations and unavailable facilities, so people can make informed decisions before booking. Transparency goes a long way in creating a better guest experience."

"The cats are very cute and friendly. Good location, crystal clear water right in front, comfortable rooms ( we stayed in a ”comfy cottage” ) with good aircon, however the service, breakfast and the atmosphere must be improved to match the big price tag!! The breakfast is poor, it’s a buffet with about 5 options, but every one of them is deep fried / ultra processed food, and with vegetarian option being an omelette (which is ok) and not much else. A serving of single type of fruit is available but it’s scarcely topped up and as everyone is desperate to get something fresh, it runs out quick. The hygiene around breakfast needs to be improved with glasses, plates and cutlery needing extra attention. Coffee and tea are over brewed and topped up hot water rather then fresh jugs being made. No fresh juice but flavoured sugar syrup. The breakfast put us off trying the food they offer in the evening. From the early afternoon till 10:30/11pm, repetitive base music, completely ruining the vibe of the place. We asked the reception on two separate days to turn it down which they did quickly, but the next day the music was back. This really is a shame as the main thing to do here is just relax by the water, alas it’s not meant to be. We informed the reception that our ferry leaves at 7am from the pier back to the mainland, they offered to bring our bags over at 6:50AM. At 6:55AM, we walked to the pier with the bags ourselves for the fear of missing the ferry as no one was around to take us. Again, frustrating. We stayed 5 nights and it’s a shame as the place has a lot of potential and these things are so easy to fix but without addressing the issues above the cost is really not justified."

Excellent, we'll definitely be back! My friends and I had a great time, and the food wasn't expensive. The only thing is the paint smell in the room was a bit strong, which I hope they can improve. Also, there aren't many entertainment facilities. Keep up the good work!

This hotel has very good location, middle of the town, easy access to mall, 2 min walk as it is in front of the hotel..the room is spacious, all is good until i tried the sink a bit tersumbat, and safety box out of battery…so requested to change the room but the manager denied ans asked maintenance to check first, eventually after check, as i was saying, that room problem, lucky i got another room that solve this issue But i think thus hotel need to improve of all of their rooms..safety box and the sink especially, the rest still in order .. I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team. What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface. As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Thank you to the entire B&J team for making my trip so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

I arrived with a lot of excitement and high expectations, but unfortunately, the overall experience towards the end was not as good as I had hoped. For the accommodation, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and there seemed to be some drainage issues. There were also small insects, which I believe may have been related to the cleanliness of the drainage area. The swimming pool also did not seem very clean. When I entered the pool, I noticed some white, mucus-like substance floating on the surface, which was quite unpleasant. The service experience was also disappointing. One of the female Malay staff members at the customer service counter did not seem very friendly or patient. I simply asked one more time to clarify the parking procedure after check-out — whether we only needed to provide our car plate number at the counter — but her response came across as rather impatient. There was also an inconsistency regarding the gym rules. I wanted my parents to come in and have a look while I was working out, but they were not wearing sports shoes, so the staff told them they could not enter. I completely understand and respect this safety rule. However, I noticed that there were guests inside the gym exercising on the equipment while wearing slippers. I asked the staff about this, and I was told that slippers were not allowed and that they would contact the person in charge to handle it. However, I stayed in the gym for about 45 minutes, and the guest wearing slippers eventually finished their workout and left without anyone coming to address the issue. Later, another three people also entered the gym wearing slippers. I understand that rules are necessary for safety, but they should be applied consistently to all guests. Overall, I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but these experiences unfortunately affected my impression of the property. I hope the management can take this feedback seriously and improve the cleanliness, customer service, and consistency in enforcing the facilities’ rules.

The hotel front desk staff were friendly, and there was a Chinese-speaking attendant, so language wasn't an issue. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and luxurious!
