Hotels With bar in Southern Province, Sri Lanka

"It's just average. There may not be any fast-food hotels in China. I just made do with it for a one-day stay. The mineral water in the room is in large glass bottles. I don't know what kind of water it is. There is no supermarket nearby. I just drank it. There are impurities in the water. I'm not satisfied with it as a whole. There was no breakfast in the morning. When I asked if there was any breakfast, they only served a pot of coffee. The only thing I was very satisfied with was the view. There is a private beach right outside the door. It's clean and beautiful!"

"We absolutely loved the Araliya Hotel. It's a great hotel with a fantastic beach, sand, and sea. They have excellent sun loungers exclusively for guests, and the beachfront area is guarded, so you don't have to worry about outsiders taking them. The beach bar/restaurant is superb, with excellent service. They always have cold beer, delicious cocktails, fresh fruit, and fish. Every day, they'd bring out freshly caught tuna and announce it to the whole beach, which was quite a highlight. The sandy beach is gently sloping, the sea is warm, and the water is clear. You'll see a lot of families and children on the beach. It's definitely a family-friendly hotel, with about 80% Russian guests. The staff doesn't speak Russian (except for one person), but that's not an issue with the restaurants around the hotel, where many people, including taxi drivers, understand Russian. We really enjoyed everything. It has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all have sea views. The bathroom is also quite large. Nearby, there's a street with restaurants and shops offering good prices. You'll find currency exchange offices everywhere; the rates are a bit lower than at the airport, but not by much. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back, maybe with our kids next time. P.S. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Naveen, one of the restaurant staff members. He's a very pleasant, smiling, and responsive guy who went out of his way to make every guest comfortable. We were very impressed with his service."

"A very high-quality hotel. The student interns provide excellent, lively service. They arranged everything for us, from snorkeling to a safari tour. It's also within walking distance to the beach, and there are many restaurants nearby. We will definitely come back here again."

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the fresh juices served upon arrival were very refreshing after the journey. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped with all the luxury amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the resort had a relaxing beachside vibe, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also used the gym, which was properly equipped with a good range of equipment. The resort has two swimming pools, and we spent most of our time at the main pool, which was absolutely massive and perfect for relaxing. The highlight of the stay was definitely the food experience. The dinner buffet was exceptional with an incredible variety of dishes. There were large selections of salads, appetizers, breads and buns, Sri Lankan specialties, international cuisine, and live cooking stations. The seafood and meat variety was especially impressive — including chicken, beef, pork, cuttlefish, prawns, fish, and many other seafood dishes, with multiple preparations for each. My personal favorite was the pork leg, which was incredibly delicious, tender, and flavorful. The dessert corner was huge, offering plenty of choices and beautifully presented sweets. After a very comfortable night’s sleep, we went for breakfast, and honestly, it was just as impressive as dinner. The breakfast buffet included a massive spread with salad stations, bakery items, fresh fruits, Sri Lankan and international breakfast options, live stations, and an amazing juice bar with around 7–8 varieties of fresh juices. They also had a dedicated cheese section, multiple yogurt options, and even 4–5 types of porridges, which was something unique and very well done. Overall, Heritance Ahungalla offers a fantastic combination of luxury, comfort, delicious food, and relaxing coastal ambience. Everything from the service to the dining and facilities was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway in Sri Lanka! 🌴✨"

"Our Sri Lankan vacation began in Mirissa and the Randiya Sea View Hotel. I was worried that our hotel was located right next to the road and would be noisy, but believe me, you'll hear more noise from the ocean waves, which we were absolutely delighted with. The reception staff was very friendly and kind. There's a swimming pool next to the hotel, which we really enjoyed. You can borrow large towels from reception and use them on the sun loungers by the pool. We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous sunset from our room. A big plus of this hotel is its close proximity to the ocean, despite having to cross the road. We walked to Parrot Rock, which is very close, and Coconut Tree Hill is also within walking distance. There are many cafes with sun loungers along the coastline. We swam on the left side of the beach, closer to Parrot Rock, where the waves are calmer. The hotel has its own parking lot and a restaurant."

"The room I was originally given was close to the street and was very noisy. Later, I was given a room close to the sea, and the beach was right outside the door🏖. Of course, I only stayed for two nights and left early. The room was large and nice, with sufficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only problem was that the hot water was not hot enough for this generation of hotels. It was probably warm water. I hoped I wouldn't catch a cold after taking a shower. I was quite happy staying there."

Во-первых, отель удачно и удобно расположен: в стороне от основной дороги побережья, но примерно в 7 минутах пешком неспешного шага до пляжа Кабалана и кафешек на побережье. По дороге к океану вы запросто можете увидеть: попугаев, павлинов, которые по-хозяйски прогуливаются или пролетают мимо. Во-вторых, взгляд радуется эстетически современному пространству, где территория благоустроена компактно, но со вкусом к деталям: много зелени, в номерах и у бара - картины, роспись на стенах в островном стиле, аутентичные элементы декора, свой shop с сувенирной продукцией. В-третьих, при отеле вы не почувствуете себя одиноко и невовлеченным в мини-коммьюнити, поскольку здесь предусмотрительно много развлечений для любой погоды и разнообразного досуга: русская баня, настольный теннис, чистый бассейн для плавания, йога и много другого, а также классная вовлеченность администрации отеля, которая внимательно следит за комфортом и поддержанием настроения каждого гостя, ребята всей командой общаются с вами и не оставляют без обратной связи. В-четвертых, месторасположение отеля как бы само «отсекает» туристов с недостойным поведением, отдых не попсовый: отдыхающие интеллигентно проводят время на террасе своих номеров, либо в зоне reception читают книги, либо работают за столиками или вечерами знакомятся в ресторане, где кстати говоря, в меню каждое блюдо, из которых мы попробовали, было приготовлено вкусно, с душой, а подано для нас в балийском стиле. Кто-то общается за настольными играми, но никто не позволяет себе после заката шуметь и как-то мешать остальным. И наконец, про номера. Не сомневайтесь, ваше пребывание пройдет на чиле, потому что с просторными и чистыми номерами, качественными средствами гигиены для мытья волос и тела, функциональным минимализмом - вы забудете про напряжение, потому что для пребывания есть все необходимое. Из пожеланий к отелю: Неплохо было бы разместить перед входом в отель нечто похожее на душ для ног, чтобы смывать с себя песок после пляжа и невольно не тащить его на территорию или хотя бы разместить средство для смахивания песка прямо перед входом в номер: что-то вроде индивидуального веника постояльца. Также, мне не хватило приспособления для просушки одежды/полотенец. К сожалению, мы так сильно намокли перед заселением, что все свободное пространство мы превратили сушильную. Да, персонал нас предупреждал, что в качестве услуги есть прачечная, но ведь не любую вещь можно сдать, когда через час или три она очень нужна. В остальном - исключительно рекомендуем. Отдых оставил самые теплые воспоминания. При возможности, с удовольствием вернемся ещё раз."
