The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of them could speak Chinese, which was a big plus. Breakfast was also delicious. The only downside was that the pool water looked like it hadn't been cleaned, so we couldn't swim. This might have been because it had just rained that day. Overall, I would still highly recommend this place. Just a heads-up, the central bar plays music at night, and while the soundproofing in the rooms is decent, light sleepers might find it a bit bothersome.
Super clean and Beautiful hotel with Gorgeous views !🥹🙌🏻Once again we were upgraded to Business suits rooms ! With Big and wide windows to see the mountains 🏔️ and clouds 🌧️ such a wonderful and beautiful place ! There were some small incidents like power outages and so forth but further than that the young gentleman in the lobby was always ready to help us 💕🙏🏻 we praise him for his hard work and making this stay in Vang Vieng so pleasantly happy 😃!!

The location was great. It's close to restaurant and bar but the hotel was not too much clean such as hallway (They are still in renovating may be...)
Due to too close to river, there are too much mosquitos and take care of these. Others that would like to suggestion the hotel. The hotel should not let the dogs free on lobby, hallway. The guest is pay for vacation and place for relax and some people are not comfortable on them.
All of suggestions for hotel to development services and if i have chance to go back, i will visit once. :)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Exceptional Stay at Sunrise Mountain View
I had the absolute best stay at Sunrise Mountain View in Vang Vieng. From the moment we arrived, the receptionists made us feel so welcome. They were incredibly kind, always helpful, and genuinely tried to create conversation with us. It didn’t feel transactional at all ,they were just wholesome and warm people.
The entire team was amazing, including security and the cleaners. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and felt safe throughout our stay.
Breakfast was good and satisfying, with enough variety to start the day properly before activities.
What really stood out was how helpful they were with everything. They helped us book our tours around Vang Vieng, arranged our train tickets to Luang Prabang, and even called a tuk-tuk for us whenever we needed one. It made our trip completely stress-free.
I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vang Vieng. Thank you for making our trip so special!
The hotel is located in the center of vangvieng City, 300 meters away from vangvieg Night Market Pedestrian Street and 900 meters away from the famous JANG CAVE( chang Cave). The hotel has 2 restaurants, 1 rooftop bar, and each room has a large balcony where guests can enjoy the karst landscape. They can also enjoy Laotian beer, Laotian iced coffee, hot air balloons, and paragliders drifting by from the balcony
The best hotel during our stay in Laos. Hotel is located a bit far from the Vang Vieng downtown but can walk within 10 minutes and because of that it’s very calm and silent. Otherwise it’s a bit noisy and very dusty around the downtown areas. The hotel has a free shuttle for the guests to go to downtown and nearby areas. Hotel does free pick up and drop off to the train station. The room is extremely spacious and clean. The room layout is excellent. Breakfast buffet is free but for non Chinese guests, it’s very limited food options are available. We enjoyed our Vang Vieng stay with 2 nights in this hotel. We wish we could stay more.

As the name suggests, this hotel is located right in the middle of Vang Vieng's streets, making it easy to find. It's connected to the neighboring hotel.
The street is quite noisy, so you can hear things from inside, but I guess that's probably true for other hotels in the area.
The room lock doesn't require a key when you leave or lock the door; instead, you simply push the center of the knob from inside to lock it. It's similar to the old-fashioned locks commonly found in Japanese toilets.
You'll need to turn the water level down quite a bit to use hot water in the shower. The button to turn off the light in the sink is a little hard to find, but it's next to the hair dryer.
Apparently, you leave your room key at the front desk to have your room cleaned. I didn't use it.
...
I don't know if you're the type of person who is concerned about a lot of things, but personally I didn't feel too stressed and I think the stay was worth the price.
Nice clean hotel. Amazing views and staff. Good price. Not very amazing breakfast. Also they try to save on toiletries: small bottles, conditioner +shampoo in one (bathtub tho). No repellent plugs in the rooms, as a result bugs. Nice free shuttle to pick up and drop off, but might be busy.
I was first shown to the wrong room, and then had to remind them that I had booked the upgraded room. No issue though.
Great bathtub but the floor to ceiling wall looked out to a dry, littered riverbank .. and the opposite hotel, which people could look through. There were blinds to close though, so no issue.
Shower had about 20 cigarette butts in it.
Breakfast was limited. Coffee had no milk options.
Location was a bit of a trek from the middle of town, over 2 bridges on a bike. Nice quiet area though.

Great communication with the hostel owners, no problems, perfect English, good travelling tips, no problems with leaving a baggage for longer to go exploring in the meantime while already checked out. Funny dog tho, it's harmless, but if someone is scared of dogs, it will bark at you, so just be aware of that. And I love dogs and they always love me, but this one just does that ...
Great view from the rooftop is a great plus!

GGemini112The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the room had a great view.
The included breakfast isn’t worth paying for and the wifi wasn’t reliable
AAnonymous UserThe place located a bit far from Vangvieng city center but it's a perfect place for staycation. We went there on week day so there's not a lot of people stay in the hotel which is very good for our group.
Hotel have a wonderful view of mountain and river for us to just sit and stair at it, but if you prefer to swim can go ahead!
Staff are very friendly and ready to help, 100% satisfy with all service. We contacted hotel staff before our visit so they turn on the AC ready before our arrival.
We also met two lovely siberian husky there too!

CCoCo niniThis is my second time in Vang Vieng, and I highly recommend it to my Chinese friends. There are so many handsome European and American guys here! My return visit is a testament to how much I appreciate this hotel. Its location is still the biggest plus, right next to the Nam Song River. The bar street, night market, and various massage shops are all within walking distance, making it super convenient for tubing or hot air balloon rides. The hotel pool is still free for unlimited use and remains my favorite relaxation spot every time I stay. Although the rooms haven't been renovated and are a bit dated, the layout is functional, and they are clean and tidy. Compared to other hotels nearby, it still offers great value for money. The front desk service is as warm and reliable as ever; they skillfully arranged a taxi for me and even recommended new attractions based on my preferences. The breakfast is consistently delicious. Whether it's your first time or second time visiting Vang Vieng, this downtown hotel is always a worthwhile choice!
GGuest UserThe Phubarn hotel was one of the best hotels of our trip to Laos. It was recently built or renovated, has a well trained and forthcoming staff with moderate to exzellent command of English. .
The room was very clean, well equipped with a wonderful view on the mountains. Breakfast was very good, both Chinese and European Continental.
The pool is great, with a waterfall and a great view.
The only setback is the direct view on the Nam Song river, where often the motorboats with the tourists pass by. But this is offset by the superb view and modernity of the hotel. It is also situated in the vicinity of many pubs and travel agencies.
All in all it it great value for money and may be on the way to become the No.1 hotel in Vang Vienh.
AA Fish Called WandererWe had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to truly recharge, and the views of the lake were simply stunning and calming.
The restaurant in the evenings had a great selection of delicious dishes, the homemade ice cream is a must try! Breakfast needs to be replenished a little faster during busy times. Our room was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the fast laundry service—fantastic quality at a great price!
We hired a scooter as the resort is out of the centre of Vang Vieng, the road to and from has many potholes so be careful!
SsshimaNice basic hotel. Walkable to the town.
Next door pool party can be a little noisy.
Earplug do the trick 😆
Breakfast simple but OK.
Staff helpful. Spacious room.
Pillow might need to change as it is too soft.
Kettle provide but the wall plug was too high.
Overall OK for basic reasons
GGuest UserThe hotel’s in a nice location on the banks of the river and staff are polite and attentive. The breakfast is good and there is a varied choice of foods available.
Because the room’s French doors to the terrace/ balcony and the wooden door (leading directly from the outside) are old and ill- fitting, we had an influx of mosquitoes in our room and I was bitten during the night. Staff sprayed the room while we’re were out, but this was only a short-term solution. We ended up placing damp towels on the floor both inside and outside of the doors in order to try to stop the pesky visitors. We sprayed the room a couple more times and the second night’s sleep was better than the first.
GGuest UserHotel is located right across the night market which is convenient. Rooms are not 4*, there’s no safe box, no bath roads, no even table lamps. Aircon is not too strong. Wifi didn’t work most of my 2 nights stay. It was fixed at some point but disappeared again. Swimming pool area is nice, especially for sunset- but hotel sells yoga lessons to anyone off the street and includes free access to the pool so all lounges (which are very few) get occupied and paying guests have none left
