"We had a very enjoyable 6 night stay at this hotel, Juso station is a 5 min walk away and gives great access to all metro and train services. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was buffet Japanese food with a few western options available too, we really enjoyed the Japanese options every day (miso soup particularly good). There are plenty of places to enjoy a drink and local street food in the area, it was all good quality and tasty, just don't be afraid to try it, you'll be missing out if you don't try !! We would happily recommend a stay here."

"I've stayed at Hotel Granvia Osaka many times, but this was my first time in a Luxury Double Room. At 35 square meters, the room is indeed spacious for Japan, offering a very open feel and beautiful views from the window. However, to be honest, the room's facilities are quite disappointing. The furniture looks very old with obvious wear and tear, and the air conditioning is a bit loud, especially at night when it's quiet, making the noise unbearable. There was also a bad smell in the bathroom. It looks like there used to be a wall-mounted phone in the bathroom, but after it broke, they just covered it with a board. The wallpaper on the ceiling is peeling, and the wallpaper in the corners is damaged. In short, the hotel's housekeeping manager should seriously inspect the room's facilities to ensure that the 'Luxury Room' truly lives up to its name."

"Great location and service. They have very impressive amenities to choose such as serum, aroma oil and much more. They also have choices of pillow as you prefer. Alcohol and soft drink provided everyday during 2pm to 9pm. One thing i do concerned is elevator that they have only one. Sometimes, i have to wait for 5 mins to go down to 1st floor, no stair to the ground."

"The room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second, upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service."

"The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station and consists of two buildings: the main building and an annex. The rooms aren't huge, but they're a good size for hotels in the same price range. They offer 24-hour hot water, coffee, drinks, and a microwave for heating food, which is great. Free luggage storage is also available. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was seamless. Breakfast was decent too. The only downside, if I had to pick one, was the constant stream of tour groups. It's also just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping street in Shinsaibashi."

Centara Life Namba Hotel Osaka

"The hotel was clean and tidy, but it was a bit far from Namba Station, which made walking there in the summer quite tiring. The room was spacious, and the kids loved it, though it did feel a bit like a dorm room. For the price, I can't really complain. The room rate included breakfast for two, so we had to pay extra for our child's breakfast. The breakfast itself was very simple; it's fine if it's free, but if you have to pay, I'd suggest eating at a restaurant outside. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy, requiring earplugs to sleep. Also, the bathroom wasn't very well-ventilated, feeling a bit stuffy. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for larger families, as the space is genuinely ample."

"Overall, a very enjoyable stay. The hotel offers complimentary alcoholic drinks during happy hour every day, and a coffee machine is available all time for both takeaway and dine-in guests. The room was spacious, clean, and housekeeping was available on demand daily. I highly recommend the breakfast at the restaurant. Many options for western and Japanese style healthy or comfort food. The hotel is about a 5–8 minute walk from the metro station and around 15 minutes from the train station. Despite not being right next to public transportation, the neighborhood is pleasant and convenient, and taxis are easy to access as well. Would definitely stay here again."

GGuest UserThe hotel's design is incredibly thoughtful, like being in a peaceful rainforest. For its downtown location, the rooms are a good size, clean, and perfect for tourists to relax after a day out. My favorite spot was the water bar on the second floor – spacious and comfortable, great for a quick break or meeting friends. The large sofas in the waiting area are also a nice touch, offering a comfortable place to sit on both the first and second floors. It was especially helpful that we could store our luggage and rest on the first and second floors when our flight was delayed and we didn't want to go to the airport too early. Thumbs up for that! The only downside was that the breakfast was too Western-focused, which isn't ideal for families with children. It seems more geared towards younger European and American guests, which might align with the hotel's overall concept.

GGuest UserI always opt for five-star hotels when I travel, but summer prices were just too high this year. So, I took a friend's recommendation and booked this place instead. 👍 It's about an hour from Kansai Airport, and Exit 13 is the closest to the hotel. The downside is there's no elevator there, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd suggest Exit 16, which has one. The hotel's service and facilities are excellent. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – we slept soundly every night. The location is also fantastic, about a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. We stayed for five nights this time and visited Kobe and Kyoto. The Chuo and Midosuji subway lines right downstairs were super convenient. I have to mention one particular incident. Check-out was at 11 AM, and our flight wasn't until 5 PM on the last day. Thinking we had plenty of time, my child and I went to Nipponbashi that morning. It wasn't until we got there that I remembered check-out was at 11! Luckily, my mother wasn't with us; she was having coffee at a cafe across from the hotel. I immediately contacted her and asked her to rush back to check out. But to our surprise, her Huawei phone couldn't connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi when she got back, and the only Pocket Wi-Fi device was with me! 😵💫 Since the reservation was under my name, the front desk needed to confirm check-out with me personally. But there was a language barrier, and my mom had no internet. She was incredibly flustered at that moment. Just then, a Chinese-speaking staff member appeared. He first calmed her down, telling her not to worry and that he would find a way to contact me, also explaining that the hotel's network was often unstable. He then took out a device and tried to connect her phone to the Wi-Fi in the lobby, but after many attempts, it didn't work. So, he took my mother back to the room and tried many more times until it finally connected, and he was able to reach me... His professionalism and meticulous work attitude deeply touched our entire family. We'd like to express our gratitude once again! I will definitely choose Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi again next time I visit Osaka. 👍

GGuest UserDisappointing hospitality and poor organization, despite decent facilities There are three major downsides to my stay at this hotel. First and foremost, the check-in process was poorly managed. While having guests wait until 3:00 PM to check in is highly understandable, the complete lack of queue management is unacceptable. I went to the counter at around 2:55 PM to get myself ready for the check in, but the staff instructed me to go back to the waiting area and wait. However, right at 3:00 PM, newly arrived guests immediately formed a line at the counter. Those of us who had been waiting patiently in the seating area had to rush over to secure a spot. Everyone was scrambling to get into line as if we were asking for a free stay(Pic.1). The hotel showed a blatant lack of care for its guests. To make matters worse, guests are required to use a self-check-in system, which feels like shifting the operational burden from the staff onto the guests. This experience clearly reflects that the hotel prioritizes its own convenience over the comfort of its guests—a concerning approach for any hospitality business. The second major issue is the Wi-Fi. The internet speed was incredibly low to the point of being completely unusable(Pic.). If you rely heavily on hotel Wi-Fi for work or travel planning, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The third point, though less severe, is the location. The hotel is situated a bit far from the subway, sitting almost exactly halfway between two stations. Regardless of which station you use, you will have to walk an equal distance of about 500 meters from either Hommachi Station (Red Line) or Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station (Green Line). While this is not entirely the hotel's fault, it is worth noting for future guests. To be fair, I would like to highlight some positive aspects. The hotel facilities are decent. They provide complimentary coffee and thoughtful amenities such as utensils and chopsticks for guests to use. Ultimately, I believe a hospitality business should always prioritize customer service and guest satisfaction over its own convenience, even if turning a profit is the ultimate goal. Unfortunately, my experience here made me feel like the guests are not a priority. Perhaps I was just unlucky, as I had read the reviews thoroughly before booking and saw no mention of these issues. I am sharing this experience simply to help others make an informed decision.

AAnonymous UserI really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was clean and had nice amenities! I will give perfect score if: 1. They had a better pillow. The Japanese pillow is very hard. It is like sleeping in a stone. 2. The onsen has women staff, it is such a surprise to see a woman doing things in such place with people who are naked. Is a man okay to serve in the women onsen? I think it was awkward for the woman worker. 3. The quilt is like silk, it slides down to the bed when you are sleeping. It is not so comfortable to sleep on. Other than these 3, everything is perfect. There is not much in the area of the hotel but It is 6 minutes walk away from Awaza station, a few stops away from Namba station (where is dotonbori) there is a 7/11 beside the hotel. I have not tried the breakfast, but there is a drink area open from 6-9 pm and you can get some beauty mask or other small things everyday in the reception. The receptionists are kind and polite and the hotel was quiet. The room is small but is convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from JR Rinku Town Station. Our room offered a beautiful sea view, perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. We, a family of two adults and two children, booked a Japanese-Western style room with two single beds and space for two futon beds on tatami mats, which was very convenient. (We paid for four people in advance; if you don't select four people, there might be an extra charge for setting up additional futons, as it's not complimentary). The room was spacious and included a dedicated walk-in closet, with all necessary amenities. Each floor of the hotel also had a water dispenser and microwave oven. This hotel is very close to Kansai Airport, which was perfect for our early morning flight. Its location is incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to Kansai Airport Terminal 1, which takes about 10 minutes and requires advance booking. Within 100 to 200 meters, there's a large outlet mall on the left-hand side, with plenty of dining and shopping options, and you can also take a stroll by the sea. Across the street from the outlet mall, there's a fairly large Don Quijote, which is very comprehensive and ideal for picking up souvenirs at the end of your trip, including some cosmetics and medicines. To the right of the hotel, there's a Cosmos drug store with a wide range of products, also worth exploring.

RReefurjiangThis hotel offers a truly great experience, it's my favorite in the city center, and the value for money is exceptional. The rooms are a spacious 25 square meters – a huge improvement from previous stays where I've paid more for tiny rooms where I couldn't even open my suitcase! No such worries here. The room was brand new and spotless, with daily housekeeping and water refills. Just a short walk away, there's a 7-Eleven, and on the way back, you'll find plenty of restaurants like Yoshinoya, Torikizoku, and Sukiya. Plus, there's a free hot spring bath on the 2nd floor. It's really relaxing, not huge but perfectly adequate. After a long day, a soak in the tub is pure bliss. Being a Marriott property, the quality is, as expected, top-notch!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka during my trip to Osaka, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a first-time solo traveler visiting the city. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently connected to transportation, making it extremely easy to travel to many of Osaka’s famous attractions and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to visit Dotonbori, Umeda, Osaka Castle, or even take day trips to nearby cities, getting around was smooth and stress-free. For someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with Osaka, staying here made the entire trip feel much more comfortable and convenient. Another thing that impressed me was the service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk employees were always polite, professional, and welcoming. They greeted guests with genuine smiles and were very helpful whenever I had questions. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, they still tried their best to assist me, which made me feel appreciated as a guest. Good hospitality can really affect the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly delivered in that aspect. The room itself was clean and well-maintained. Although the room size was slightly small, which is quite common in Japan, the facilities inside were surprisingly complete and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was provided, and the layout was efficient enough that I still felt comfortable during my stay. The in-room hot spring bath was also a very enjoyable feature. After spending long hours walking around Osaka every day, being able to relax in the warm bath at night was incredibly refreshing and helped me recover from fatigue. If I had to mention one downside, it would only be the limited room space. However, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, I still think this hotel offers great value overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka for the first time, especially solo travelers who want a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.
