"This hotel's location is super convenient, right in the heart of the Tenmonkan area, with the tram stop directly in front. It's walking distance to the bustling downtown and plenty of restaurants, so exploring and dining out was a breeze. The hotel and rooms felt new and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The artificial carbonated hot spring in the public bath was fantastic for soothing away travel fatigue. I especially enjoyed the breakfast on the top floor, with amazing views of Sakurajima while savoring dishes made with local ingredients. The staff were also very attentive and polite. Overall, I'd say this is a highly satisfying hotel."

酒店包含早晚餐，不得不驚歎酒店的餐食太太太好了！我住過非常多次含餐食的温泉酒店，温泉酒店的懷石料理/會席料理很多時候都是精緻但説不上很好吃，但這家餐食居然出乎意料的好吃😋讓人印象深刻。大廚的服務非常非常好，他會逐一介紹菜品，即使我們日語不好也用英語介紹，全程非常關注每一個客户，真的做到用心對待每個客户。第二天早餐，大廚還安排我們坐到窗户的位置能看到大海（其他日本顧客都是坐回前一天晚餐的原位，大廚看我們外國客户特地安排我們坐窗邊），還幫我們拍照，服務真的超級無敵好。推薦給大家！！"

"This was once a luxurious hotel, but Yeltsin's time spared no one. He stayed here and even planted a tree. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer beautiful views, three different restaurants for dinner with exquisite cuisine, sake tasting, sand bathing right on the hotel premises, a huge onsen, and the hotel's layout allows for privacy from other guests. However, the vacation was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and even bloomed in the first week of September, there's no private beach, and the beds and pillows in the European-style rooms are simply awful. Choose a traditional-style room with a sea view, and your stay will be unforgettable."

We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down.
Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find.
Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!

I came to Kagoshima for a solo vacation and chose the Sheraton after seeing it recommended by a travel blogger. To my surprise, it exceeded all my expectations! Hygiene, environment, service, and facilities all scored a perfect 5, making it the highlight of my trip.

As described during booking, I stayed in a room with club lounge access.
The moment I opened the door, I was truly amazed – a huge floor-to-ceiling window directly overlooked Sakurajima volcano! Whether it was watching the volcano faintly appear through the morning mist or admiring the city lights come alive in the evening, this view was absolutely breathtaking. The room's interior design was modern and simple with excellent natural light. Staying in such a spacious environment by myself instantly lifted my spirits.
【About Facilities and Service】
As someone meticulous about details, the hotel's cleanliness put me completely at ease; every corner was spotless.
- Gym: The equipment was new and comprehensive. Running on the treadmill while enjoying the view outside made the workout feel effortless.
- Club Lounge: This was a major highlight of my stay! The environment was elegant and quiet, offering not only comfortable sofa areas for relaxing and reading but also dedicated dining areas and a bar. This was definitely the biggest bonus of my stay! The hotel has its own natural onsen, which is a savior for travelers who have been walking all day.

Sitting on the wooden steps, soaking your feet in the warm spring water, and looking up at the indoor garden scenery – the feeling of relaxation is truly indescribable. You get to enjoy the healing benefits of the onsen without any awkwardness, offering maximum privacy!

GGuest UserWe arrived quite late, so they upgraded our room. We stayed for several nights and had a fantastic experience. Traveling with a 1-year-old, they provided a bed rail and even building blocks, which our baby absolutely loved. The room also had a microwave, perfect for preparing baby food anytime. The only downside was that during the day, there was occasionally some music and what sounded like broadcasts that were a bit noisy, but it was quiet at night. The hotel's location is excellent; it was very convenient to grab late-night snacks, and popular restaurants were right next door.

VVvmingAbsolutely loved this hotel! It's nestled quietly on a hillside, directly facing Sakurajima, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the volcano erupting. The gentleman at the hotel entrance, dressed in an old-fashioned uniform, was so friendly. He saw us taking photos and specially came over to take a group picture for us, and it turned out great! The hotel offers various dining options and a convenience store. The breakfast, though, was the real highlight – easily one of the best quality breakfasts I've had in a Japanese hotel. The hot springs (onsen) were also wonderfully relaxing and fully equipped. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserI stayed here when I went back to my parents' house. I didn't have many opportunities to stay here when I was in my hometown, so I'm glad I was able to stay here this time! The room had a nice atmosphere, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooftop was also cute. Parking is free if you present a ticket at check-in. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

MM3221****Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right. The hotel's on-site hot springs are also very comfortable, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning!
