"I stayed here as part of my Tokyo Love Story pilgrimage. The facilities, hygiene, and environment were all absolutely perfect, truly impeccable. The only issue was that when I booked, it showed no breakfast included, but the reservation slip provided by the front desk indicated breakfast. I returned the breakfast voucher to the front desk and asked them to double-check, as 3000 yen isn't a small amount. The front desk said they would verify and call my room, but I never heard back, even until check-out. For a hotel of this caliber, I really think this is unacceptable, especially since this was the part I was most looking forward to in Matsuyama. However, despite this minor flaw, the rest of my experience was absolutely perfect."

"I really had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and simple, with separate bath and toilet, a sauna, and the bathtub was so relaxing I could stretch my legs out for a long time. I really respect the architect who designed this hotel. I think it was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The breakfast was Western-style and excellent. It was delicious. It was so comfortable that I relaxed right up until the last minute before check-out. It's in the Mitsukoshi building, and it's conveniently located along Okaido. I'll go again."

"I booked a Japanese-style room. The room was spacious and very clean, and came with complimentary snacks, sake, and orange juice. Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic. "It is right behind the main building of Dogo Onsen, and it is close to the station and has easy access to everything. In particular, there are Korean staff members who are very kind and solve any questions or problems, which made me feel at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hot spring is small but clean, and the open-air bath is on the rooftop, so you can enjoy the hot spring while enjoying the beautiful view. "Trip.com  wrong room! This is the first time  this happened!  I booked 2 new wing standard twin rooms (Figure 3, 4)  I went to the hotel and the new wing casual room- I didn't even have toilets and bathing facilities.  I used  to negotiate with the hotel for more than 1 hour.  I couldn't speak  I finally knew that it was caused by the error of communication between trip.com and the local  Tourism Agent Company in Japan. I was very tired.  But I booked the room and it was full of sun.  It is convenient for my family to have a toilet at night. The hotel helped me change the old wing single room (with toilet, picture 1 and 2)  I want two people a single bed,  room  very narrow,  toilet smell 😢
 To praise the hotel manager and staff for being very polite, try to communicate and change rooms. 
 This loss is actually difficult to make up for. It is always a hot spring hotel. Family and friends have expectations for staying. It also wastes a lot of travel  precious time , so disappointed 😞"

It was a tatami floor and spacious, so the front door - ＞ room with a small table and quilt in the middle - ＞ Main room
I relaxed in a pretty large space like this
Just a ventilator? The air fan was so loud that I didn't know where to honey, but it was good except that.
The washbasin/bathroom/toilet are all separated
We have a lot of quilt for additional people.
It's a low floor, but you can see the sunset in the neighborhood view.
The big bath was also moderately good"

The hotel is not close to Dogo Onsen street and you will need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go there. There are no restaurants or shops nearby the hotel. There is a walk nearby the hotel you can take which offers nice scenery in the woods. The hotel looks a bit dated particularly the bedrooms and the corridors. I asked for a quiet room facing the mountain instead of one facing a busy road and had to pay an additional 2200 yen. The hotel has a number of onsens and I like the outdoor ones best. The buffet dinner and breakfast offer good selection and I particularly like the dinner which offered nice teppanyaki beef and sushi.
The hotel reception staff spoke very little English and the hotel did not reply to an email I sent them asking for transportation information to get to the hotel.
There are buses near the hotel which go to Matsuyama and Imabari but they run infrequently.

This ryokan was spectacular in the most traditional Japanese hospitality way. We arrived around 7pm, and the welcoming hotielier made sure we could take dinner in a restuarant next door, even though we were not staying at their facility--such a kind move! The space was peaceful and welcoming, the traditional men/women bathing experiences were so comfortable and well-supplied. The tatami sleeping room was perfect, and kept successfully cool in a VERY hot summer. The traditional Japanese seto breakfast and dining area were equally special. I cannot recommend this wonderful inn highly enough! The location is the only somewhat limiting factor, as there is not much around the inn regarding food and amenities.

2024.7月以来2回目の利用でした。
多々羅大橋のたもとにある大三島BSからは島の反対側ですが、バスで移動しました。バス停からはすぐです。
近くにマーレ・グラッシア大三島さんがあって温泉に入れるし、大三島ブリューワリーさんはすぐ近くなのが気に入っています。
大山祇神社も徒歩で行けて、朝の静かで凛とした空気の中でお参り出来ました。
ランドリーやキッチンもあるので、長期滞在やサイクリングの宿に最適だと思います。
オーナーご夫妻も気さくで、また大三島に行く時には利用したいです。

Booked a single room, there is a bed, to be honest, the room is small, but the price is there. The bathroom and toilet are shared, but the hygiene is no problem, very clean, there is a shared kitchen, there is a microwave oven to heat the lunch, and it is similar to at home. This time it was the cycling island Bohai Road, the hotel in the middle, the hotel was on the shrine of a shrine, and the hotel's integrated dining bar solved the breakfast and lunch problem very well.

The first time I stayed at this hotel, the level of health was very high, the restaurant location was relatively small, and the lobby was relatively small.
But the room equipment is very new and clean, there is no noise, the location is not close to the city center, so the environment is very good, but there are large shopping malls nearby. In addition, the hot spring facilities are more disappointing, because there is only a small independent pool, the hot spring pool is less, but overall it is still enjoyable.
