"This is our second time staying at this hotel in two years. The location is excellent, right above the train station. The facilities are new, clean, and upscale. They also offer laundry service, which is a paid amenity.

"Stayed for the first time and booked a single room. The impression is a very clean hotel. The room is also well cleaned and clean. I didn't bring amenities, so I bought it at the front desk for 300 yen. The pouch is cute. The room had towels, toothbrushes and 500ml of water. I booked breakfast at the front desk. The view was good on the 9th floor, I ate breakfast while watching the scenery, and the rice cracker soup was unusual. ２ I stayed for a night. I didn't come to Tohoku easily, but it was good to stay."

"This was my first time staying here.
34 years ago, I drove alone from Morioka, passing through the Oirase Gorge and visiting places like Hiba Senninburo (Cypress Bath for 1000 People), Jigoku Numa (Hell Swamp), and Manju Fukashi (a traditional Japanese manju dumpling).
However, that day I was staying in Aomori.
This time, my husband and I booked the Hakkoda Hotel for a relaxing stay.
It's an old, historic hotel, so it does feel a bit dated, but it's clean everywhere. The staff were impeccable. The amenities are plentiful, and the thoughtfulness is evident everywhere, from the soft laundry bags and toothbrushes.
Access to nearby areas is also easy with the shuttle bus, so it's not a hassle.
The quiet environment was relaxing.
I was surprised to see the first snow this time! But it was a great memory.
I'm definitely planning to return next year, and plan a multi-night stay."

"The room was spacious enough. It's a bit far from the JR station, about 150 by taxi. There are also buses, so if it's not snowing, taking the bus is an option. There are plenty of local eateries within a 10-minute walk. I recommend Tengu Yakiniku; their food is excellent."

"1st time having Japanese tatami room. It give a much spacious look. I like it but not my wife. A bit difficult to get up and don't get use to sit cross leg on tatami. Like the view from hotel room and especially at top floor where we had our dinner and breakfast. Like the food served at both meals. A good location to stay to have sightseeing at Kawauchigawa keikoku stream and Hotoke-ga-ura Rock formation."

"I used it for a total of 3 nights. The parking lot is very large and you can park with plenty of room.
During my stay, when I went out and returned, the front staff 々 looked at me and greeted me, so I was very happy.
I often worked in the room during my stay, but I am very grateful for considering the room allocation.

We thought it's going to be fresh in August up the mountain but it wasn't. Very hot and without air-conditioning you'll be suffering. Rooms are tiny and it barely fit 4 people. Road to get there is rough so make sure you have an off road car (the last 5 min only). The onsen is insanely beautiful especially the women's. Food was pre-served and left out in the heat to stand. Didn't look particularly appealing. Shared bathrooms.

Noriko ShimoThe tea and coffee service for the meal are delicious and surprised. I thought the service was very good for the price.
It was a surprise even though the futon was laid. Very happy. It was a service that I wanted to dive as it was.
The bath is far away, but the morning bath is very beautiful and amazing. I was able to spend a leisurely time.
Also, I knew that there were 33 lakes in the poster in the building, and I went around the next day. There was a good response.
I think it is a good hotel for the price.

Thanathip MoolvongAlthough I chose this ryokan as alternative place but it turned out it is my best stay so far. It is not far from Kuroishi and it is accessible by public transport.
Room is very spacious and has both a bathroom and a toilet.
Onsen is good. It has both indoor and outdoor ones. Usually it is not busy.
Food was great both dinner and breakfast.
Free flow of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are also included. Very generous.
Staffs are very friendly, although their English are very limited.
Extra 150 yen per person for onsen tax. Cash term only.
Cashless payment is available.

I had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and relaxing environment after a long day of traveling. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would gladly stay here again in the future.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right by the JR station. This was incredibly convenient given the heavy snow in Hirosaki, as I didn't have to drag my luggage far. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent. It's also very close to Hirosaki Castle, within walking distance or you can catch a bus right outside. There's even a direct bus to Morioka from the front of the hotel, which I'd consider for my next trip – super convenient without having to take the Shinkansen!
