"Pretty well located close to the station and with walking distance of Bari centre. Also offers parking facilities at a cost. Room is comfortable but needed some modernisation especially the bathroom but otherwise functioned very well overall. Breakfast was good but serving coffee in a plastic cup and drinks in a paper cup is not exactly 4 star level. Otherwise there was a good choice of items for breakfast. Lifts functioned well except for one that was out of order from the garage to the reception area but the service lift served as a good replacement"

"We stayed at this property for three nights. We had already stayed there last year and can only confirm our positive opinion. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable room and were given a very beautiful sea view. From the window balcony, we had the sea just a few meters away. Waking up to this view is priceless. The property is modern and well-maintained. Breakfast was superb! Plenty of both savory and sweet options. There was also plenty of fruit. Private parking was available and very convenient. Now, when we visit relatives, we've found our regular stop. See you next time!"

"I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, I received a free upgrade to a superior room: spacious, clean, and with an extremely comfortable bed.

"The hotel is particularly convenient in the old city, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the main attractions.
The design and decoration of the hotel and guest rooms is great! It retains a medieval atmosphere and modern style, as well as a modern artistic sense! The rooms are very spacious.
The hotel owner is warm and attentive. On the day I drove to the hotel, I was catching up with the temporary road construction on the local road. The navigation could not guide the feasible road. It was the hotel staff who helped drive to the hotel. It was great!
The parking fee is 25 euros/day, and it is necessary to make an appointment in advance and be confirmed. Note that there are strict administrative regulations for driving in the old city.

"It is a very beautiful hotel. We had a very nice large room with very large beds. The facilities and equipment of the bathroom were very modern. Breakfast buffet was varied. The Polish facilities in the adults courtyard and in the garden for families were very large and beautifully built. There were several comfortable beds. The spa, the fitness studio and the restaurant we have not used and cannot rating it. The connected golf course is very nice and it's fun to play there. Overall we had a very nice stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel and book it again at any time."

"The location is right on the waters edge, with the perfect day beds to enjoy the ocean front.
The room is very generous in size, although we had ongoing issues with the airconditioning and it may be an Aussie thing - but no iron and only the option to wait 24 hrs for “laundry” if you needed anything pressed as it’s deemed a “health issue” to have one in the room. (Not ideal when you’re living out of a suitcase.)
The Hotel prides itself on ‘being green’, but it just felt like that was an excuse to cut corners on the what they offer.
The bikes on offer - were more like they were picked up from a thrift shop - but worked for a morning to travel a little further around the corner.

"The room itself was perfectly fine, and we appreciated being given a late check-out until 1:00 PM.

We had an evening flight and were travelling with our 7-year-old daughter. After checking out, we asked whether there was anywhere we could take a shower before leaving for the airport. There wasn’t. We then asked if there was at least somewhere suitable to change clothes and were told to use the restroom. Beyond that, the only option offered was to sit in the lobby until it was time to leave.
I fully understand that the hotel was busy and that no rooms were available. We were not expecting them to provide us with another room. What disappointed us was the complete lack of effort to find any alternative solution.
Throughout the stay, the service was very correct and professional, but also quite minimal. Normally, I probably wouldn’t even mention that. However, when we needed something slightly outside the standard routine, this approach became very noticeable and disappointing.
The hotel did what it was required to do, but very little beyond that. For us, hospitality also shows in how a hotel handles a situation that requires a small amount of flexibility, especially when a family with a young child is involved.
As a room for the night, it was absolutely fine. As a final stop before an evening flight, however, the experience was disappointing, and I would choose a different hotel next time."

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel left a good impression: recently renovated, clean, and very conveniently located between the central railway station and the Old Town, close to one of the main entrances to the historic center. The mattress, pillows, bed linen and towels were of good quality, and the sleep comfort was excellent.
However, there are some significant downsides.
First, there is an additional cleaning fee of €53 for two nights (€26.5 per day), which represents around 40% of the accommodation cost. The cleaning was limited to making the bed; the minibar was not refilled and the towels were not changed. This fee was not clearly included in the total price at the time of booking.
Second, there is no natural daylight in the room. My room, like most rooms in the hotel, does not have windows facing outside — all windows (a glass door, a large window and a small window) face the internal hall and reception area. As a result, no daylight enters the room and the curtains have to remain closed for privacy.
Third, complimentary water is not provided. Although the three bottles of water in the minibar were not charged at check-out, which I appreciated, the absence of free bottled water as a standard amenity was surprising.
Check-in is only possible between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and check-out is from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, which is much more limited than standard international practice. The room was also quite cold, and the heating system was not intuitive to operate. Additionally, since the hotel is located in a residential building, noise from upstairs (footsteps, conversations) was clearly audible, even late at night.
The hotel is good in terms of quality and location, but the additional charges and organizational aspects significantly affect the overall experience.

Staff - the staff would go above and beyond for you, there was nothing they wouldn’t do for you. All incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, with even the owner bringing us a traditional Puglian breakfast one morning! Every single staff member we interacted with was so kind and welcoming, special shout out to Seydou and Andre (we didn’t get everyone’s name, but I would be calling them out if we had!) and to all the cute doggos and kitties on site!!
The grounds/rooms - a truly truly beautiful location. The main pool is a great size, the area in general is very peaceful and tranquil, makes for a perfect pool day! The rooms are quant and perfect for what we needed, more than enough space for three girls with lots of clothes, bags, shoes and make up! They were kept very clean by the staff, good aircon, refilled water in the fridge. Our room even had a private plunge pool which was very cute and perfect for a slow morning.
Food - the breakfast selection is great, with homemade focaccia, croissants, cakes, as well as the usual things (bread, cereal etc).
The Masseria also hosted a cooking class/dinner on our last night, almost all of the guests attended and we sat at a long table together, there was pizza, calzones and lots of wine! This was a very special experience and so glad we did it.
If you want an intimate family run experience in the beautiful Italian countryside, this really is the place for you. I honestly cannot believe anyone would give this place anything but a 5, I would give it a 10 if I could!

Our first room was old , smelly, and awful with a broken fridge, a kettle that could not be plugged in and peeling paint.
The second room has 3 different paint colours exposed fires and a bathroom that floods every time the shower is used.
There are holes in the ceilings, no staff apart from 1 young girl at reception.
Rooms have the cheapest, most basic facilities. The toiletries are what you would expect in a 2 star hotel.
No nescafe machine if you want sn expresso you must pay €3.50.
The hotel is run down and clearly management care only for money.
Private guest information is stored in a public cupboard. Maintenance is ignored, and breakfast is basic.
The breskfadt consists mainly of prepared sweet pastry and cakes.
A small glass of tetra pack orange juice us €5
If you wish to iron, you need to either iron on the bed or the floor..
The hotel does not have a bar that operates. There are no umbrellas or comforts of a 4-star hotel. Service is zero.
The hotel only offers breakfast. No lunch, dinner, or room service.
But the most alarming concern is the hotels noncompliance with fire safety. If there was a fire at this hotel, guests would simply lose their lives.
On both the 2nd and 3rd fll
Oor parts of the ceilings have collapsed.
The police gave arrested the hotel due to serious concerns for staff and guests.

MMary KangWhat an amazing experience to stay in a Trullo at this property! My husband and I booked our stay in mid-Nov., which is the beginning of the off-season in Puglia. When we arrived, the concierge/manager, Ugo, graciously upgraded us to a loft/superior accommodation. It was fantastic! He personally walked us to our charming, Trullo, which was not only impeccably clean, but also completely modernized despite being an historic, antiquated structure. We arrived on a chilly day to find that the marble floors are heated and very toasty! The queen bed was comfy, and the updated bathroom was enormous, with a huge shower. The little dwelling even had a very well-equipped, modern kitchen if one were to stay for a longer period.
Finally, I left my small jewelry box in bathroom when we checked out. We took a 20 minute taxi ride to a train station, and apparently, during the ride Ugo tried to contact the driver to inform us that they'd found the box. Ultimately, when I discovered my oversight at the next hotel and contacted Ugo, he kindly express-shipped my jewelry back to my home in the U.S. I can't praise this property or its management highly enough. Don't hesitate to stay here!

GGuest UserHotel in the medieval historical building. The windows were in the yard. Sleep with open window, so noise from cleaners and other staff since the morning. Hours from 4 bells at the church beat every hour. Very colorful. Breakfast is great on the top floor, there is an open terrace. Parking is close to 10 euros a day, convenient. The room was with air conditioner, refrigerator and a small kitchen corner in the closet. The city of Conversano itself was a pleasant opening for us. Interesting historical centuries with maze of medieval streets and churches. In the evening beautiful lighting, lots of shops, restaurants, bars. Benefit location: close to Bari, Polynano-a-mare, Albertobello, etc.

SSarah and Prom - UKWe booked the executive suite ( room 3) with a jacuzzi and were well impressed with the room and location!
We were extremely late to arrive due to a thunderstorm but staff at the joint restaurant Komera waited up for us. Incidentally morning breakfast can be booked here but as we are not early risers and have small appetites in the morning, we didn't use this facility though ghe restaurant certainly looked inviting.
The room itself was well equipped with all mod cons and bathrobes,slippers and a welcome bottle of prosecco was offered.
The only negative point for us was the light coming in from the street at night which was a little disturbing. This has been brought yo thd attentiin of the management so hopefully this issue will be rectified for future bookers who like me, prefer darkness to sleep.
The location is perfect ..right on the shore of the old port with ample bars and restaurants a stone's throw away.
Would definately recommend Palazzo Kapece!
