"Superb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park. Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower. The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered."

"The hotel is about two kilometers from Bicester Village. If a shuttle service were provided, the convenience of getting around would be greatly improved. Also, there's one check-in experience that needs improvement: the staff took my passport to another room out of sight for registration. I've never encountered this in any other UK hotel, which made me a bit concerned. I hope they optimize this process in the future. Additionally, the bedsheets in the room had multiple tears, so the linen maintenance needs to be strengthened."

"The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Blenheim Palace, which is very convenient. If you are in Oxford the night before, you can stay here and go directly to Churchill Manor the next morning. The house is an old house, but it is quite clean. Better than expected. The only thing that is not satisfactory is the receptionist on the evening of October 5th. Her coldness makes people think that they are in Germany instead of Britain, but as a front desk receptionist, she does not even have the most basic polite greetings (such as hello, welcome) and her attitude is not like a German at all. I have never encountered such service quality in the UK, which is very unprofessional, so I choose 2 points (unsatisfied) for the service. If you don't want to spend money to see a big cold face, you can choose other hotels nearby."

"The service was decent, with daily cleaning. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The hotel's downtown location is very convenient for walking around. I imagine the experience would be better if it weren't summer. I was on the third floor, and there's no elevator, but carrying luggage wasn't too difficult, and you can always ask staff for help. The biggest issue was the summer heat. The room got a lot of direct afternoon sun every day, and even though the hotel provided a fan during the European heatwave, it was still hard to sleep. Good to know that the double rooms in the new building have air conditioning."

"Been here many times and never disappointed. Love their retro quirky touches ie Smegg fridge And Kettle. With the hotel being in a 5⭐️ Location andq l the high standard accommodation I really believe it would be worth them investing in Air Conditioningloinnńbğ nnnnnq. It was 28df and the room only had a tiny window So no air and the fan they supplied just circulated hot air around the room. Plus the fan was so noisy. But that is my only complaint."

"The hotel is quite secluded, surrounded by residential areas. The yard is big enough for kids to run around freely. The hotel food was good. However, the breakfast policy for children did not match the description on Ctrip, and the front desk staff was very rude. They also didn't inform us about the à la carte service, which felt a bit discriminatory. You really have to fight for your rights!"

The room key card was very unique. The Alice breakfast was a delightful surprise, and the lobby on the first floor had a nice ambiance. There's a museum right across from the hotel, and a bus stop next to it with service to Bicester Village, and apparently even to Blenheim Palace. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the train station.

Great for self-driving, it's right off the highway. Parking is easy with a QR code, and I've attached a picture of the overnight parking fee. If you're staying longer than 24 hours, just tell the front desk and they can waive the extra charges on their system. There's a gas station and fast food like KFC nearby. It's also convenient to get to the city center by taking the 300 bus. Both the breakfast and dinner provided were excellent.

This was the first hotel we stayed at on our right-hand drive trip. We picked it mainly for the huge car park and the relaxing golf course views, which definitely made things a bit less stressful. I booked the most basic room type, and that's exactly what we got – nothing fancy, no extra frills, certainly didn't feel like the 'Western hospitality' I might have expected.

We have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better. The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets. We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

This branded hotel offers great value for money and a very convenient location. It's just a 7-minute walk from the train station, and all major attractions are within a 15-minute walk. We have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean. The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold. The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.
