"The hotel's location is great, right in the outlet village. It's about a ten-minute walk from Portsmouth Harbour train station; just enter the outlet from the station. The staff were all very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. The hotel offers free luggage storage. After booking on Trip.com, I was notified via email that the central air conditioning was still under repair. Upon check-in, they gave me a can of water. The hotel facilities are typical of an older budget hotel in China, quite dated. The price was a bit high. In the room, there was only shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap, which seems to be common in UK hotels. The room was clean and well-maintained, but there was no desk, only one chair, and no charging points near the bed. Breakfast was a standard continental spread, sufficient to fill you up. A pleasant surprise was finding a Whittard store downstairs where I bought my favorite fruit tea at a discounted price. Right outside the hotel, there's a Tesco supermarket, and opposite Tesco is a brunch spot. There are also several restaurants and cafes within the outlet village, making dining very convenient. From the outlet, it's about a fifteen-minute walk to the Mary Rose Museum, where you can see King Henry VIII's favorite warship, salvaged after more than 400 years at the bottom of the sea – a must-visit for history buffs!"

"Very conveniently situated at Fleet services.The male receptionist was very polite, well spoken and helpful. The female receptionist in the morning was also polite and friendly. Although the hotel looks a bit tired it was spotlessly clean in the bedroom, with good quality amenities in the bathroom. The only downside was on arrival I was told I had to pay £5 for parking. When I queried it, I was today that if I had booked on the hotel website the parking is free!"

"Room was lovely with great air conditioning during heatwave. Swimming pool etc very nice. Reception area very comfortable. Had some problems at dinner but the Hotel Manager responded very well and made some recompense. This is the right way to deal with constructive criticism which I greatly appreciated."

"We had an amazing time at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort celebrating my fiancé’s birthday weekend. The whole place is beautiful, the décor is stunning, with lovely pictures throughout that make it feel both homely and luxurious at the same time. The spa facilities and gym were excellent, and the young guy at the bar was especially friendly and made us some great drinks. The rooms were spacious, the showers were fantastic, and the golf course was beautiful and very well maintained. The only area I think could use a little improvement is the breakfast selection. There were fruits, bread, yoghurt, eggs, and the usual items for an English breakfast, but after staying more than one night, it would have been nice to have more variety such as pancakes or other breakfast options to switch things up a bit. I also paid extra for the birthday package. While I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, it did feel a little misleading for the £15 charge, as it mainly included balloons, a very small teddy bear, some chocolates, and a card, which was exactly what was shown in the pictures. Other than that, everything was perfect and we had a wonderful stay."

"The hotel itself is a little dated and could probably do with a spruce up, but the value for money is great. It's warm and friendly, and the staff are very hospitable. The facilities are above the norm for the money, with a pool and gym available if you need them. The food is good with excellent service. and at these costs its definatley on top of my list to stay again"

"I spent an enjoyable two nights at the Crown Manor Park hotel. The location was perfect for discovering the New Forest. Check in was easy. My room was on the 1st floor facing the road, it had air con which was very welcome. The room had a welcome tray with biscuits,tea, coffee and hot chocolate. This was replenished on the second day.The bath room was quite small . It had a shower over the bath with shampoo and shower gel provided, lots of hot water. Two large bath towels were available. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food. Tea and coffee were served at the table. I would certainly stay here again."

"Unfortunately this was the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in- barely more than a broom cupboard with no windows and no air conditioning it smelt of wet dog or cheesy feet. The main light flashed on and off brightly twice in the night and an annoying intermittent ten second hum occurred. We had to move the furniture to access a plug point n and had noonly one small chair. We booked through Trip.com. Our daughter booked the same night with the hotel and they were upgraded and given free drinks vouchers! The nearly £200 we paid was excessive by any standards for the '' room” we had and we learnt a lesson the hard way."

"New Year's Eve Party We booked an overnight stay at the #Aviator to celebrate New Year's Eve. We were upgraded to an airside view room with breathtaking views of the runway. The room was airy and big. We requested a fridge in our room and a carafe of water which was supplied to us. The room had a powerful rain shower which was so needed after hours of dancing! The bed was comfy and the TV was super easy to use We did not avail breakfast this time but did go to the excellent sky bar for some yummy cocktails! Room came with iron, hairdryer, safe, USB sockets, tra and coffee facilities (cafetiere coffee) with option to request fresh milk. We will certainly be back!"

"Nice little inn off the highway and it’s a hidden gem! Nice Italian decor especially in the restaurant. That continues into the room where my wife commented it made her think of the room we stayed in Venice. Another great thing is that they warmed up the room before we got there, so it’s nice and warm we entered it.  Restaurant also served good Italian food. Would stay there again!"
