I caught the early flight to the airport. I had a few simple breakfasts and went to the lobby. After waiting for the arrival of the shuttle bus, I found that I accidentally left the passport bag and there was cash in the restaurant bag. After a while, the staff helped me deliver it very much. But later, when I got off the plane and exchanged money, I found that the cash inside must have lost the cash banknote of 250💶. The whole passport bag in Egypt was with me all the way. I lost almost ten minutes at this moment, and then unfortunately I had to end my trip to Egypt. I have left a message to the hotel to adjust the monitoring, but I don't know if there is any feedback and whether it can be found. At present, people have been to Tunisia to play, and the cash euros for the hotel are not enough!
This Marriott hotel is located in Cairo Airport's Terminal 3, which is incredibly convenient. It's only a five-minute walk from the hotel to the airport via a dedicated elevator and skywalk. We arrived much earlier than our check-in time, but they were able to accommodate us without any extra charge. The staff in the lobby were all very friendly and helpful, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff available!
Hi everyone! I stayed at this hotel from March 19-23, 2026. My room was 411.
The location is great. The Zamalek area is a super beautiful place! The Nile is wonderful. I really enjoyed it. The hotel's overall condition is good, even though it's only a 3-star. The hotel staff and personnel are very pleasant people. The room and bathroom were both fine, but the view from the window was bad 🤦♀️. The food in the restaurant was good quality. I have no complaints. I recommend this hotel. I used the laundry service, and it was fine, no complaints. Thank you very much! 🙌🏻🙏🏻
Hotel is relatively clean and enjoys a good location. Rooms are tiny and may not be worth the price. Staff are helpful as much as they can.
I stayed twice at this hotel and my main issue was the AC. First visit, the AC wasnt working properly but I was tired so didn’t bother to raise it up to someone. Second time I gave an early disclaimer that I need a cool room. Room was still warm. I asked for help, maintenance guy improved the situation and it was a bit cooler but it still wasn’t cold enough.
I think their AC system needs a major renovation.
The room is very good and the service is not bad.
But!
Trip.com The hotel address left is six kilometers away from the actual address! Who could have thought that I pulled the suitcase and turned around in Tahrir Square for more than an hour before I found that the actual address was not in Tahrir Square at all!
The National Museum is right outside the window, making it super convenient to walk to. Tahrir Square and its surroundings are well-policed and secure, so the area feels very safe. The staff are all incredibly kind and proactively offer assistance with everything. They even played games with my child while we waited for our car and reminded us not to forget anything. The hotel guests are mostly Europeans, and the overall service is excellent!
The hotel is only an 8-minute walk from the Egyptian Museum. The room size is decent, and the balcony offers beautiful views of the Nile River and the bustling Cairo cityscape at night. The lobby is grand, and the singer in the evenings has a lovely voice. Breakfast was plentiful.

Facilities: Meets 5-star standards. USB ports are available, so no adapters needed. There's a balcony with a river view. The only downside is that the toilet is too close to the wall, making it easy to hit your head when getting up.
Cleanliness: Pretty much dust-free, though there was a sandstorm just before we arrived, which might have had a slight impact, so there was a tiny bit of dust. The bathroom was clean and fine.
Environment: The hotel interior and exterior are like two different worlds. The air freshener scent was a bit strong and seemed a little forced. It's not a brand-new hotel, but it's well-maintained. The building is perpendicular to the riverbank, so there are fewer rooms directly facing the river; most have a partial river view. This area along the Nile in Cairo is full of big hotels, with the St. Regis nearby. It's roughly the same distance by car to attractions on both the east and west banks, so I highly recommend staying in this area.
Service: My flight arrived in the morning, and I stored my luggage. They said the room would be ready by noon. When I returned in the evening, I initially couldn't find my luggage, but then the hotel checked and said it had already been sent to the room – a false alarm. Breakfast was excellent and highly recommended.
We stayed in this hotel for more than 2 weeks. It is a mediocre hotel which is acceptable if one does not expect a good standard. The lobby ceiling is low which is not usual for such big hotels. The bar and the restaurants are not very attractive. The food in the Italian restaurant was of a very low standard and we returned it and skipped this meal.
Our newly renovated room in the main building was well acceptable which we experienced after we moved from a very old style room in the tower.
It is not far away from the airport and can set e well if one does not expect much.
Annoying was that upon checkout it took 15 minutes to proof that our booking had been prepaid which is a other indication for the hotel's organisation and standard.

RRaypanDon't go in winter if there's no heating; it was 10 degrees outside and 15 degrees inside. During my two-day stay, the first day the warm water was around 40 degrees. On the second day, after I kept urging them, they finally fixed it to just warm enough, but still not hot water. The decor looks like it's 15 years old. I came here because it said it opened in 2019. The service was indeed good, so I can't give a bad review for that. However, I spent two and a half hours over two days waiting for repairs and service. In summary, it's a five-star hotel with three-and-a-half-star facilities.

RRamyFirst room smelled like cigarettes despite picking no smoking. Second room was an upgrade but it was actually the upgrade I originally paid for. My first room was a downgrade.
MMichele CarlesiUnfortunately, this time I experienced a few issues with the room. The tap was clogged and, after it was repaired, the sink became clogged as well. The door was also partly broken and had to be pushed very hard to close properly.
As a business traveler, I usually have breakfast early in the morning. At 6:00 a.m., however, the breakfast room was already crowded with a large group of very noisy tourists, which made the experience less pleasant.
Despite these inconveniences, our stay overall was still pleasant.
RricksterI needed to stay here for a business trip. The good points are the consistently high quality of the St. Regis rooms, the abundant breakfast, and I loved the swimming pool.
The downside is the location. The new capital city is so new; the nearest shopping mall is a 30-minute drive away, and because it's so new, even ride-hailing services are hard to find. The hotel only has two restaurants.
GGuest UserThe staff of this hotel was not good, At about 8 PM in the evening, the hotel front desk staff called the room and said that the hotel we booked only allows one person to stay. If two people stay, they need to add an additional fee of 70 US dollars. Very unlogic, so I leave my friend and I booked another hotel.but the facilities and environment is good .only their service is bad

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot.
GGuest UserThis was the best hotel on my Egypt trip. However, it's still a far cry from luxury five-star hotels back home. The breakfast wasn't great; there was very little variety. Perhaps due to cultural differences, you have to order drinks from the waitstaff, which was a bit inconvenient. The funniest thing is that the person at the front desk here had the best English of anyone I met during my entire Egypt trip, haha.
