Unfortunately, the service was disappointing.
I know Tropical Islands very well; this was my 18th visit. Despite prior written confirmation that we could leave our luggage and sports bags at reception, this wasn't possible on site. Instead, we had to store our luggage in lockers until we could access our room – at a cost of €2.50 per day for a total of three days. Despite repeatedly pointing out that I had specifically asked, I was simply told that only ”large pieces of luggage” would be accepted. In the future, promises should be clearly stated, or the dimensions should be requested directly. As a regular guest, this makes me feel cheated."

"Super nice and cute room. We heard a train honk 2-3 times during the night, but it wasn't really a big deal. Unfortunately, the rolls at breakfast were almost empty, and the coffee machine didn't work, but you could have one made at reception, as they have a machine there. The lady behind the counter at check-in spoke almost no German. We can speak English, but many certainly don't. If I book a hotel in Germany, I'd like to have a German-speaking person to contact in case of any issues. But €100 for two people with breakfast and parking (€10) is very good. I'd be happy to stay again."

The room is clean but tiny and very basic amenities. There is no bottled water or water kettle or tea and coffee at your room. The breakfast is ok but kind of in the lobby. So for this price which insn‘t cheap you can only expect very basic things. The airport transfer by bus costs 3.5 euros and takes about 7 min bus ride. It leaves every half hour in front of the hotel."

Staff tried to be helpful but wasn’t very knowledgeable in certain areas. Free welcome apples were a nice touch. Room itself could have been cleaner. Broken outside window. Tv not properly working due to internet issues. Water wasn’t refilled. Had to ask for refill during our 3 day stay (even we booked the luxury suite) especially on a Sunday when all shops are closed that isn’t very cool. Staff was very friendly about it but I would prefer service that doesn’t wait for me to ask for things.

WWasssupDespite the 10mins long walk on main road to the hotel (they do provide sign to guide you), I really enjoyed my stay that is away from the city. The front desk staffs are very friendly in helping me in renting a bicycle and using their sauna.
A great place to unwind and relax with long cycling path. The breakfast is acceptable and filled with choices.
The front desk staffs also informed me that they do sell pizza when I come back late one night as everywhere nearby was closed

GGuest UserAfter 10 PM, there’s no staff on site and check-in is fully automated. However, the process is quite tricky. A fellow passenger had trouble checking in—possibly due to a small spelling mistake or some other issue—and I tried helping him from midnight until 2 AM. Unfortunately, he couldn’t check in and ended up sleeping on the couch in the reception area. The hotel should either make the self check-in process easier or have staff available 24/7 to assist guests.
