"Songzhuju is one of the nicest homestay I've stayed in. 1. Butler Ah Fei and all staff are very welcoming and friendly. Ah Fei contacted me in advance to arrange pick up and itinerary. He's also the go-to guy for purchase of authentic tea and local produce. 2. Superior location The homestay is situated about 100m from north gate. Considered easy to find but I would still recommend the pick up service as the town is such a maze. It takes around 30mins by car from Lijiang Railway to the ancient town. Restaurants, cafes and shops are everywhere. 3. Spacious and cosy room Room was clean, full amenities like bathrobe, slippers, kettle, shampoo, conditioner etc all provided There are endless options of homestays to choose from but Songzhuju stands out for being so homely and such kind of personal service is really rare. After 3 days of stay, i cannot pinpoint a single negative aspect at all. Would return for sure and highly recommend to all travellers! . Bed and pillows quite comfortable. Breakfast provided from 8am. Laundry room available."

Hotel near The Old Town of Lijiang,Lijiang
Renovated in 2023, the Yueshang Mountain Viewing Courtyard offers both holiday makers and business travelers a pleasant stay in Lijiang. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Lijiang Railway Station located approximately 12km away and Lijiang Sanyi International Airport roughly 30km away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Old Town of Lijiang, Lijiang Ancient Town - South Gate Square and Ancient City Zhongyi Market. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with groups of friends, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"After two incredible days exploring Lijiang’s ancient cobblestone alleys and vibrant night markets, I have decided to extend my stay by one additional day. The charm of the Old Town, with its winding canals and timeless Naxi culture, has truly captured my heart. While the past two days allowed me to visit the iconic Black Dragon Pool and stroll along Sifang Street, I realize that one more day is needed to fully appreciate the surrounding beauty. Specifically, I take a day trip to the serene Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, whose peaks have been teasing me from a distance. A final evening wandering the quieter, lantern-lit lanes would also allow for a deeper connection to this UNESCO World Heritage site."

Hotel near Black Dragon Pond,Lijiang
In the pulse place of the Old Town of Lijiang, adjacent to the landmark water wheel and the babbling jade river, a resort secret place integrating Naxi culture, snow mountain spirituality and modern aesthetics - Lyon | Hexi · Happy Food and Drinks · Snow Mountain Sightseeing Resort Hotel is interpreting the true meaning of "Oriental Slow Life" in a leisurely manner. This is not only a place for rest during the journey, but also a poetic space for awakening the body and mind, and conversing with nature. **Mountains and waters serve as curtains, and ancient cities are neighbors** The hotel is located at the entrance of the north gate of the Old Town of Lijiang, and you can walk 5 minutes to the bustling fireworks in Sifang Street, but turn around and enjoy a quiet seclusion. Each guest room takes the Yulong Snow Mountain as the natural picture frame, and the panoramic french window will take a panoramic view of the majesty of Jinshan under the sun and the nimbleness of clouds on the snow top. Pushing open the window in the morning, the light mist envelops the blue tiled eaves of the ancient city; As night falls, the Milky Way echoes with the ancient city lights, weaving a romantic narrative unique to Lijiang. **Eating and drinking in moderation, the way to nourish the heart** The core of the "Hexi · Food and Drink Festival" brand runs through the hotel experience, with the concept of "eating according to the times, nourishing the body with food", creating a unique dining philosophy. The restaurant strictly selects plateau organic food materials, and combines Naxi traditional flavor with the wisdom of solar term health preservation: in summer, it launches matsutake Steamed chicken in casserole with wild mushrooms hot pot, in winter, it uses black pottery pot to simmer cured ribs warm soup, supplemented by flower tea and fruit wine brewed by local roses. The top-level observation tea room invites tea artists to perform the Pu'er tea ceremony, accompanied by the twilight of the snow capped mountains, allowing taste buds and visuals to enjoy a feast of scenery together. **Oriental Aesthetics, Craftsmanship Space** The hotel design is inspired by the Naxi residential style of "three squares and one screen wall", with wooden structures paired with Dongba text reliefs, and decorated with handmade tie dye and Dongba paper lamps in the corridors. The 14 guest rooms are named after the elegant charm of the Book of Songs, featuring custom-made tatami tea mats, natural stone bathtubs, and underfloor heating systems, infused with Eastern Zen in a minimalist Wabi Sabi style. There is a boundless bathing pool on the star terrace on the top floor, where you can enjoy the snow in winter and the stars in summer, enjoying the double gifts of the ancient city and snow mountain. **Cultural healing, immersive experience** The hotel delves deep into local culture and launches a series of customized activities: learn ancient pictographic writing from Dongba inheritors, participate in Naxi ethnic bonfire parties in the courtyard, or book a private guide to visit the hidden villages at the foot of the snow capped mountains. The butler team thoughtfully planned the "light hiking+wild luxury afternoon tea" route, taking guests through snow capped mountains and meadows to taste the natural wilderness in an uninhabited area. Lyon | Hexi · Food and Drink Festival · Snow Mountain Scenic Resort Hotel redefines the dimension of high-end vacation with the cultural thickness of a city and the natural spirituality of a mountain - it does not provide standardized services, only brews Lijiang memories worth cherishing.

"This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my Yunnan trip. I spent three nights in Lijiang; the first night was at a B&B inside the ancient town, which was incredibly inconvenient for getting around and very noisy. I checked out quickly after one night and booked this place instead, and it was a delightful surprise! The rooms are very clean and spacious, so much more comfortable than a B&B. The guy at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and kind, truly a genuinely good person – I bet he's like that in everyday life too. The auntie serving breakfast, dressed in traditional Naxi attire, was also very warm, gentle, beautiful, and kind. The hotel also has a public terrace and a cafe on the sixth floor, which is beautiful and relaxing, with views of the snow-capped mountains. The fifth floor, where we stayed, also has an open-air garden. We booked two rooms for two consecutive nights, and the hotel even provided complimentary airport transfer service, which was a very thoughtful touch. Thank you so much! I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends; it's really fantastic ❤️"

"The location, service, common areas, and atmosphere were all excellent. Hotel near Shuhe Old Town,Lijiang
Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa,  is located adjacent to ShuHe Ancient Town with uninterrupted views to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is ten minutes from downtown Lijiang and DaYan Ancient Town. This Low-rise designer resort inspired by local NaXi ethnic minority architecture and blended with contemporary Chinese interiors is set amidet gardens featuring canals and a central lake. Ideal for escapes filled with culture, history and stunning surroundings, the resort offers easy access to many activities and is a gateway to the Shangri-la Region. Hotel also offers unique spa treatments (Operated by the third party) that replicate the spirit, soul and cultural traditions of ancient times.

"My partner and I stayed at Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa for two nights during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Overall, our experience was mixed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the villa itself. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was excellent—one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept on in a long time. We had two very restful nights, and the room provided a peaceful environment to relax after exploring Lijiang. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the hotel’s luxury branding, price point, or rating. While the property may once have been a premium resort, it now feels dated and in need of renovation. Many of the facilities and amenities appear worn, and the overall condition of the hotel gives the impression that it has not been maintained to the standard expected of a luxury resort. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The Western selection was very limited and of questionable quality, while the Chinese options were equally underwhelming. Even basic items such as the baozi did not taste freshly made. For a hotel in this price range, the food quality was surprisingly poor and far below expectations. Having stayed at many other hotels across China, including less expensive and less prestigious brands, I have often enjoyed significantly better breakfast offerings and overall value. The dining experience simply does not reflect the premium rates charged by this property. In summary, if you value a large villa and a comfortable bed, this hotel may still be worth considering. However, those expecting a true luxury resort experience, modern facilities, and high-quality dining may find themselves disappointed. The accommodation itself was enjoyable, but the amenities, maintenance, and food quality need significant improvement to justify the hotel’s reputation and pricing."

"The room was incredibly clean and smart – the AI assistant 'Xiao Du Xiao Du' could help me control the lights, curtains, air conditioning, and projector. The bathroom was also spotless! What impressed me most during my stay was the service from the front desk staff. I've traveled to so many cities, and honestly, this is the best service I've ever experienced! I won't go into all the details, you really have to experience it for yourself. The hotel's location is also super convenient, close to the airport, and best of all, there's a night market right downstairs. As a night owl, this was perfect for me; you can literally find food 24/7. Besides the night market, there's even a breakfast place that opens at 3 AM! If you're worried about noise, the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs, so you'll sleep like a baby, haha. The facilities are all excellent as well. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new. On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp. Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

Here's my review of the Banyan Tree Lijiang; overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The room featured a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. The entire place was spotless, and any request we made to the staff was met with a prompt and thorough response. I particularly loved the room layout. The sleeping area with the large bed, the living area with the sofa, and the bathroom each had doors that could be closed off, creating separate, private spaces. It felt as spacious as a two-bedroom suite. It also came with a private courtyard that included a hot spring jacuzzi, with the water temperature perfectly adjusted. The whole garden was incredibly quiet, making for a truly relaxing soak.

My stay at Lisiman was the perfect conclusion to my Yunnan adventure across Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-la. While each accommodation on my journey served a different purpose, I chose Lisiman specifically because I desired tranquility and a close connection to nature. Location and Atmosphere: Location-wise, LISIMAN ranked incredibly high for me. It sits right within the Napa Hai (Yila Grassland) while remaining close to town, and I highly appreciated their complimentary shuttle service. The view from dawn to dusk offered shifting, beautiful vibes. In the distance, I could watch cows and horses grazing on surrounding farms, while within the hotel compound itself, I loved watching the free-roaming animals, including black swans, ducks, Alaskan dogs, deer, sheep, and a donkey. Exceptional Service and Staff Recognition: I am deeply grateful for the warm reception and care I received. The staff showed incredible initiative and responded expediently to all my queries to ensure I felt comfortable experiencing Shangri-la ”the Lisiman way.” I was highly impressed by the collective teamwork, sincerity, and professionalism of the store manager and specific team members: 麦克, Alan, 小罗, and 小钢. My Experiences: Thanks to thiis team keeping me updated on the daily lineup of programmes, I enjoyed an unhurried yet incredibly fulfilling vacation. During my stay, I was able to: - Interact closely with the in-house animals. - Enjoy a delectable afternoon tea on my sun deck while soaking in the fresh prairie air. - Decorate a candle with flowers. - Stroll along the grassland for photography. - Snap sunrise hues and animals from my room. - Indulge in a photoshoot. - Count the stars at night. Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or with a family, LISIMAN has something for everyone.

My friend and I stumbled upon this hotel online, and after booking, it truly exceeded my expectations! It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯. 🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete: * Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter! * Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect. * Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing. * 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿. * They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋. * The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view. * There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸. * When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

The staff was very nice and even picked us up from the street (the taxi cannot enter the old town, you have to walk for a bit, which is totally fine). The staff even helped us carry our luggage (see the picture). They then greeted us with a selection of local tea and were very friendly. They also advised us on how to prepare for the Yulong Xueshan day trip, when to leave, etc. The room is very cute and their terrace has an amazing view. I would definitely stay there again.

This guesthouse is perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient town, just a few minutes' walk from the Grand Water Wheel and Sifang Street. Step outside and you're in the bustling market, but inside, it's a tranquil oasis – truly the best of both worlds. The Song-style courtyard, with its white walls, dark tiles, and wooden corridors, is picturesque and elegant, offering photo opportunities at every turn. The rooftop viewing terrace is the absolute highlight. From there, you can take in panoramic views of the ancient town's charming rooftops and even catch a glimpse of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. The sunrise and nighttime views create an incredible atmosphere. I even got lucky enough to see a rainbow during my stay, which was a real treat! The guest rooms are spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that even includes lavender sachets. Modern amenities like a smart toilet and Dyson hairdryer are provided, showing great attention to detail and ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were a wonderful surprise – they have everything: a sauna, KTV, billiards, card games, a coffee shop, and even a gym. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic, handling luggage transfers and answering all my questions about local attractions with great care. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!
