"UR Cove is one of the highest quality hotels around Nanjing South Railway Station. I highly recommend this hotel it you are coming to Nanjing South.
The location is fantastic, it is a very short walk from Nanjingnan Station and is situated on a commercial building lot. On the lower floors there are plenty of places to eat, get coffee and even get documents printed. The price for the service and quality of the stay is exceptional value for money.
The staff are extremely friendly and service orientated. As a foreign person with a very limited Mandarin vocabulary the staff acted with diligence, and patience and found a way to communicate with me effectively ensuring checking was smooth. The hotel added me to thier WeChat and I was able to communicate with them throught this method. I found that when I asked a question, they answered promptly and went that extra step further providing map pins of locations I was asking about as well as photos of the buildings. The customer service experience didn't end there. Having extended my stay after my original booking. I thought I would need to Check-Out then Check-in again, but when I spoke to the staff, they confirmed I could keep the same room.and just renew my room key card. The process was very simple.
Now for the facilities. The rooms are modern with tile throughout. They have a smart toilet with Bidet feature, a large generous shower, a vanity basin with a Make-up light for the ladies. There is a desk and a chair in the room which are both very comfortable. The bed is large and spacious although at 180cm I was close to hanging over the end of the bed but that is no fault of the hotel. The bed is soft and comfortable and provides a great nights sleep especially after a long high-speed rail journey.
House keeping has been fantastic, they come and clean the room daily and do a fantastic job. The hotel also has a pair.of delivery robots so if you want to order food you can with out any hassles.
The overall feel of the UR Cove hotel is that of a modern contemporary hotel with modern facilities and a warm, welcoming friendly environment.
There is also a self services laundry and a gym within the hotel so all your needs are met.

"The most outstanding feature of this hotel is its service. Manager Geng at the front desk made me feel incredibly welcome and at home, which is the most difficult thing to achieve. His every action inspires the entire team to have a service-oriented mindset, a prerequisite for the hotel's continued success. Another highlight is the daily welcome fruit; the quality is excellent and not perfunctory. It would be even better if there were more small items and children's supplies. In short, a heart dedicated to serving customers is the most valuable quality, and Manager Geng was the most satisfying person I served during this trip – his service was particularly natural.
When my child arrived wanting a toy, Manager Geng immediately offered to give him a ”Journey to the West” blind box, and we got the hidden Buddha figure. It was very hot outside, and when I went back to get an umbrella, the front desk proactively asked and brought it to me. The young male front desk staff also asked and brought me cold brew tea. Proactively offering things when it's hot outside would have made it feel more like home. When I wanted to check out a little later, they also arranged it for me. Finally, the food at their restaurant, Hua Jian Shi, is of very high quality and tastes great. When I left, I asked for another blind box, and the handsome young man at the front desk helped me get it. He even gave me a complimentary hotel gift—a scented stone. I'd suggest that if you're traveling alone with a baby, they could help with your luggage; it's a nice touch to have everything done properly.
Yes, the ladies at the production area were also very patient. They mentioned that customer satisfaction is their driving force, and team culture is very important.
In short, it lived up to everyone's expectations. You could feel the leadership's dedication driving the overall service. The attention to detail and small gestures couldn't compensate for the exceptional hospitality. I hope it will be even better next time I come! 😁"

"From an architectural and design perspective, the InterContinental Nanjing (Zifeng Tower) is definitely worth a stay. We checked in on the 14th and checked out on the 16th, accompanying my parents to Nanjing, and overall, we were very satisfied. As the tallest building in Nanjing and Jiangsu, the Zifeng Tower was designed by American SOM, giving it a very international aesthetic. Although the building has some years on it, it still looks grand and timeless; its lines, proportions, the ventilation design of the glass curtain wall, and the elevators don't feel outdated at all. Instead, it has the vibe of a classic landmark. The hotel's interior continues this international design sensibility, offering breathtaking high-altitude views. The public spaces are simple and stylish, and the city views from the guest rooms are expansive. The facilities, service, and dining were all impressive. My parents enjoyed their stay, and I personally loved it too. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Thank you!"

"The room perfectly matched the pictures; the hotel has a lovely Japanese style. We booked a futon room, which was very comfortable for two adults and two children, and perfect for young travelers. There are plenty of dining options in the nearby commercial street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic Shantang Street. Transportation in the area is also very convenient. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and well worth staying at."

"The package price on Trip.com was really a great deal. We booked it in advance for our 24th anniversary and stayed for two nights. We happened to be there during a typhoon, so it rained constantly, but thankfully the hotel had everything we needed for food, drinks, and entertainment, so we weren't bored staying indoors. On the first day, we checked into the 'Captain's Suite' on the sixth floor. The facilities were a bit old, but the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views. The bedding felt a little damp. On the second day, the rain was so heavy that water seeped into the room from the deck area. The hotel upgraded us to the 'Navigator Grand Suite' on the eighth floor. The facilities there were newer and well-equipped, making for a much more comfortable stay than the 'Captain's Suite', and the bedding was dry. The breakfast on the first floor was packed every morning, and the variety of dishes was quite good, appealing to most palates.
We also checked out the afternoon tea at the lobby lounge. It was beautifully presented, but the cakes weren't very tasty. It was good for taking photos and passing the time, though.
The executive lounge on the seventh floor only offered soft drinks and alcohol during the day. However, during dinner hours, there were hot dishes, snacks, and cakes, although the selection wasn't extensive.
Overall, the hotel is a flagship Crown Plaza, so it's quite large and has a clear locational advantage. It's just a bit older now, which is to be expected given its age."

"Traveling to Shantang Street with my good friends and our kids, I was getting a headache trying to find a hotel. Luckily, we ended up staying at this hotel right inside the scenic area. The garden-style landscaping is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. We could easily pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired. 😄 Our room had one king bed and one twin bed, and the best part is that they were movable, so we could push them together – fulfilling the kids' wish to sleep together! ❤️ The hotel's bathtub was huge; even though we only stayed one night, the kids took two baths and had a blast. The air conditioning was also incredibly powerful, which was an absolute lifesaver in this scorching summer heat!!! The hotel even provided afternoon tea, which, paired with the lotus flowers we bought in the scenic area, made for some fantastic photos – we took dozens, haha. It's especially great for a getaway with your girlfriends because the room has a two-sided mirror, so you can do your makeup together. 😄 The breakfast was delicious and served as a set meal with exquisite presentation. Kids' breakfasts are even complimentary! On top of that, you can feed the fish at the hotel, which the kids absolutely loved, hahaha. Next time we visit Suzhou, we will definitely stay at Zhu again. This summer trip was too hot and rushed; only staying one night was a bit of a shame. P.S. The staff were super nice. Before check-in, they thoughtfully informed us about various convenient transportation options and the hotel's Wi-Fi. All our small requests were met quickly and efficiently. The staff even helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and when we asked the front desk for bottled water, they generously gave us several bottles at once. Truly amazing!"

"After comparing several hotels, I settled on this one, and it didn't disappoint! The hotel is located right in the old town, within walking distance of attractions like Confucius Temple, and there are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The room was well-equipped, providing a great living experience. Housekeeping was meticulous, even cleaning the corners thoroughly, which made me feel very comfortable. The front desk staff were thoughtful and attentive, even giving us tips on local eateries and must-visit spots. I couldn't find any fault with the environment, facilities, cleanliness, or service. It's a perfect base for tourists and offers excellent value for money.

"Fantastic location right next to Xuanmiao Temple, making it super convenient to get to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street. The subway entrance is just a 200-meter walk away, and there's a large parking lot with charging stations right outside. Plus, the hotel's own restaurant is located downstairs. We booked the Zen-style room with a tatami mat that can be used for sleeping, essentially making it a family room. They even provided extra bedding and upgraded us to a room with a bathtub! The laundry and drying facilities on the first floor are very convenient, and housekeeping was always prompt. Highly recommend!"

DoudougoudoudouThis hotel is just two subway stops from Nanjing South Station, which is great, especially on a hot day, as you don't have to walk far to catch a ride-sharing service.
It's been almost ten years since I last stayed at a Courtyard, and I feel like the facilities aren't as good as I remember. Perhaps back then, I hadn't stayed in as many good hotels. With company travel budgets tighter now, I can't stay at Marriotts, so I opted for Courtyard this time. Honestly, I don't think it's as good as some of IHG's economy brands like Voco or Holiday Inn Express.
I didn't eat much breakfast, but it looked decent.

Stanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner. I didn’t and still don’t have an eSIM that can make local call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free. I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands. I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.
I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop to Suzhou which was my next destination.
This operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.
After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge . If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass. Do check with the owner for up to date information.
The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.
Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. . There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

Guest UserI had a fantastic stay at Sawmill Youth Hostel. The place was always clean, and the common areas never had any unpleasant smells. The bathrooms were spotless and dry, with no standing water. My bed was tidy, and all the bedding was brand new. The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently answered all my questions. They were quick to help with any issues. The lobby had a relaxed atmosphere, and I enjoyed participating in the games organized by the hostel in my free time. The location was convenient for getting around, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money was excellent, and the cleanliness and service far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hostel for short trips and will definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing.

Check-in Experience
We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee.
Accommodation
We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit:
Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property.
RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games.
**Ratings**
Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities.
Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout.
Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days.
**Things to Consider**
It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center.
If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include:
- ATV rides
- Fishing area
- Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter)
- Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry)
- Train ride (30 RMB)
The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car.
**Challenges We Faced**
My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available.
However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

We booked a futon room, which was very comfortable for two adults and two children, and perfect for young travelers. There are plenty of dining options in the nearby commercial street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic Shantang Street. Transportation in the area is also very convenient. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and well worth staying at.

Traveling to Shantang Street with my good friends and our kids, I was getting a headache trying to find a hotel. Luckily, we ended up staying at this hotel right inside the scenic area. The garden-style landscaping is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. We could easily pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired. 😄 Our room had one king bed and one twin bed, and the best part is that they were movable, so we could push them together – fulfilling the kids' wish to sleep together! ❤️ The hotel's bathtub was huge; even though we only stayed one night, the kids took two baths and had a blast. The air conditioning was also incredibly powerful, which was an absolute lifesaver in this scorching summer heat!!! The hotel even provided afternoon tea, which, paired with the lotus flowers we bought in the scenic area, made for some fantastic photos – we took dozens, haha. It's especially great for a getaway with your girlfriends because the room has a two-sided mirror, so you can do your makeup together. 😄 The breakfast was delicious and served as a set meal with exquisite presentation. Kids' breakfasts are even complimentary! On top of that, you can feed the fish at the hotel, which the kids absolutely loved, hahaha. Next time we visit Suzhou, we will definitely stay at Zhu again. This summer trip was too hot and rushed; only staying one night was a bit of a shame. P.S. The staff were super nice. Before check-in, they thoughtfully informed us about various convenient transportation options and the hotel's Wi-Fi. All our small requests were met quickly and efficiently. The staff even helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and when we asked the front desk for bottled water, they generously gave us several bottles at once. Truly amazing!

The riverside views are truly healing. I particularly want to commend Burben for their exceptional service; they answered all my questions and proactively introduced the hotel facilities. Luna at the front desk was also warm and polite, providing heartfelt hospitality without being overly formal. We experienced high-quality service throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, with excellent amenities. It's the perfect escape from the city bustle, making it an ideal choice for a vacation in Nanjing. Xiaoji LilyLast May Day, we visited the Club Med in Taicang, and the GOs recommended the newly opened Club Med in Nanjing. This summer, I brought my child here for a weekend (three days, two nights) during the school holidays, and the experience was fantastic, definitely a full five-star rating!
**Accommodation:** The rooms were clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The cleaning staff were very friendly and patient, always refilling our drinking water. The resort grounds are spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural surroundings. You can overlook the lake from the balcony, offering a wide and open view.
**Activities:** There are plenty of facilities for play, both indoors and outdoors. We happened to be here during a heatwave, so we mostly opted for indoor activities. The indoor sports area includes basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, and rock climbing, as well as a 'parkour' area (similar to an adventure course) that my child loved, which we visited for two consecutive days. You can also book KTV sessions. When it's hot, you can also sit at the U Bar and play cards, which is very relaxing. Outdoor activities are also abundant. You can cross a bridge to 'Explore Park,' where you can try archery, kayaking, windsurfing, or even the 'flying trapeze.' However, the flying trapeze requires training, and you need to be able to hang from a bar with both hands for at least ten counts. Neither of us had that much grip strength (we could only manage up to five), so we just watched other 'experts' try it. Kayaking was quite nice; the lake water was clear, and there were little ducks swimming around. It's best to go in the late afternoon, around 5-6 pm, to avoid the intense sun for a better experience. My sister and I kayaked together, and circling the large lake wasn't tiring at all. It's suitable for mothers or older children with moderate physical fitness.
**Service:** The butler service was online throughout our stay, with quick responses and smooth communication. Whether it was booking activities or requesting supplies, they responded and handled everything promptly. When we wanted a clothes drying rack for our swimwear on the balcony after swimming, it was provided very quickly, which was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Being peak summer holiday season, the restaurant entrance traffic was also managed efficiently; just stating your room number allowed for quick entry, which was very user-friendly.
Here, you can shed your fatigue and quietly enjoy your holiday. I'm already planning to come back when the weather isn't so scorching (the 'furnace city' reputation is certainly well-deserved).
**Two additional points:** There's an external food delivery pick-up point near the entrance, which is very convenient. I also loved the hotel's lighting fixtures; they were very artistic.
