It gave us all the energy we needed for the day ahead – just perfect for both kids and adults! The service was another highlight. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and traveling moms know how much little things like that matter. Plus, the hotel even offers a convenient transfer to the train stations, which made our trip so much easier. No headaches or complicated logistics – just smooth sailing! Depending on your booking they offer a 20% discount with Thaiwoo Ski Resort where you’ll go to get all the ski equipments if you don’t have your own including ski suit. I bought a 3 day ski pass which costs 1173 RMB plus a deposit of 2200 RMB (immediately returned on the last day of skiing). The room is like an apartment, kitchen area with all the necessary amenities to cook except pots and utensils (bring your own if you plan to do that), living room, bathroom and bedroom plus a small balcony. Plus also a washing machine. Btw, to get to the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus from Taizicheng train station, just follow the signs for the bus and which one stops at A&B Hotel. Check the schedule for departure times as the go according to train arrival and departure times. The Taiwu town area has plenty of restaurants and shops and the ski slopes closes at 4:30 pm.

The hotel is close to Jinshanling Great Wall entrance so it's very convenient to stay one night and be able to see sunset and sunrise on the great Wall. Obviously there are not many connections with Beijing, just a bus running on weekends. The closest station is Gubeikou, about 30km away. They offered us a taxi but it was too expensive. Better to use didi app on your own. They have a restaurant inside the hotel so you can have lunch or dinner there. The room was comfortable and clean with all toiletries and a balcony.

I originally booked Building C, but after learning that the ski equipment hall, restaurant, children's playground, and hot springs were all in Building D, I decided to upgrade to Building D at the front desk, which was much more convenient. The room was compact but the storage space was very well designed, and there was a fireplace to create an atmosphere. The children's playground downstairs was quite large and had many play facilities. Although the hotel is not close to the town, it is close to the beginner's trail of the ski resort, which is suitable for bringing children.

I chose this hotel because it has a sauna & hotspring although it was more expensive than the other hotels, i thought it was okay. Upon arriving at the hotel, sadly we need to pay another 128 RMB per person to use their facilities. I have been to lots of hotels where the use of the hot pool and sauna are already included when booking a room so this is something that shocked me. The hotel is clean but the sofa seems to have bugs. I just sit in their sofa and felt so itchy. Their bed and services are quite good. Location is perfect, near restaurants, convenience store and easy to reach. Breakfast has lots of options.

The room we were given only had a small window but it had a nice view and comfortable bed. Only complaint is that the room is a bit dated and had strong smell of cigarettes even though we asked for non smoking. Afternoons tea is a nice feature

The king-size bed was firm and conformable for my back. The hotel rooms and facilities are not extravagant but practical, making me feel at home. Although the location is not city-center, there is a metro station across the street. The breakfast serves both cold and hot dishes, much more selection than the ones you find in a typical Marriot Residence/Springhill suite. The hotel is tea-house themed, perfect for quiet conversations. The service was great and they tried their best to accommodate my needs, including late check-out. Love to stay there again next time I visit the city.
