"During the Mid-Autumn Festival, I brought my wife and kids here. This was already the most affordable accommodation I could find for the price. Plus, it had everything we needed, lacking nothing. My child had a great time at the swimming pool downstairs, and the beach was just a few minutes' walk away. I'll definitely book this place again next time I visit."

"The need for a short break away, could not have come better than a few days in Dameisha, east of Shenzhen. From door to door, metro, train and metro, the travvel time was an easy 4 hours, arriving just 400 meters from the hotel, which unfortunately, due to some street work, was hidden behind work bollards. However, when accessed, the check was quick and easy, the room was close to the lift and the room, small, two beds, a small balcony, gave a pleasant view of the main town, with the hillside covering the background. The room provided a remote controlled environment, curtains, lights, AC and so on, and the mini bar was free too. Supplies and ammunities were provided and the shower was equal to the natural condition of your personal needs. At the end of the day, the time spent there was fun and enjoybale, with good multinational breaskfasts, and a quiet atmosphere, surrounded by bridges, that led to outlet shops and stores, the beach not 5 minutes walk, with beautiful views to supply a meditational feeling, and a good coastal man made walking path, provided greater photographic opportunities. The hotel and the surroundings, were great for the personal relaxing ease, with a beautifully clean, bright shiny sandy beach and eassy chance to swim and play, with children activities provided close by and a subway, accessible to both hotels one side and the beach the other. Recommended environmentally restful place to go."

"The guesthouse is quite new, and the facilities show great attention to detail. It's located right in the pedestrian street, with Minxin, Renxin, and beef offal shops just downstairs. Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

YoYo_6S6JThe Executive Lounge at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou is excellent. Aside from one staff member who seemed a bit stern, the other service personnel were all incredibly warm and polite, making us feel right at home. The food inside was also fantastic. Although the cocktails were a bit subpar, the overall experience was still very positive, earning high praise from both myself and my boss.
The public area's pool and Jacuzzi experience were also great, and the sauna and warm pool in the changing rooms were equally impressive. The room itself was also quite good.

The front desk service was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The subway entrance is right downstairs, making transportation and parking very convenient. There are also many restaurants nearby.

Pros:
1. The hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs from Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. Across the street is the Grand Buddha Temple, and you can see a panoramic view of it from the hotel lobby.
2. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks are provided. The late-night snacks include traditional sweet soups, which are quite good.
3. Since the hotel is relatively new, it features smart toilets and high-speed hair dryers, making for a more comfortable stay.
4. The front desk staff are quite friendly and promptly address any issues raised.
5. There's a laundry room, which is very convenient.
Cons:
1. Although we booked a room with an outdoor window, the view outside was of a parking lot. We could hear the electronic announcements when cars were leaving. Also, it was very close to the building opposite, so there was practically no natural light.
2. The hotel occupies middle floors of an office building, so you have to use the office building's elevators. Sometimes, during peak hours, waiting for the elevator can take quite a while. We even encountered an elevator malfunction where it would only go up and not down, forcing us to go to the top floor and then come back down.
3. The hotel's ventilation is not ideal.
4. Noise insulation issues: While we couldn't hear conversations from next door, the outdoor noise was very loud. We constantly heard a loud buzzing sound at night. Furthermore, the indoor bathroom lacks proper sound insulation, so any use of water creates a lot of noise.

Kris LYKI know this hotel is undergoing renovations, and some packages for the new room types even include lounge access and five meals a day, which offers excellent value for money!
First, regarding the room, the newly renovated style is minimalist and refined. The room feels very spacious and has excellent natural light. The bathroom amenities include Diptyque shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, which was a very pleasant touch.
Next, concerning the dining, the five meals included afternoon tea, happy hour, evening dessert and drinks after check-in, and breakfast and lunch on the second day. The afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. Although the food selection for happy hour wasn't extensive, it focused on quality over quantity. I didn't get to enjoy the late-night dessert session, but I learned that it was a chocolate-themed dessert night, and the themes are updated regularly. It's worth noting that no matter when you dine, you can enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Finally, I'd like to commend the hotel's service. All the staff I encountered during this stay were extremely polite and friendly. Especially Miss Sahar at the front desk, the check-in process was very smooth and efficient, and she even followed up afterward to see if I needed any assistance. A male staff member in the lounge also provided very professional service, always greeting us with a warm smile every time we entered the lounge for a meal.
Overall, my experience during this stay was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again after the full renovation!

The hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the Pearl River to see the Canton Tower on the opposite bank. The hygiene is meticulously maintained, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff are friendly, and it's convenient for getting around. Highly recommended!

The hotel grounds are tranquil, filled with water features and lush greenery, creating a very relaxing overall atmosphere that is perfect for family trips. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and the check-in process was quick. They even thoughtfully reminded us that the gym and indoor pool do not require reservations and can be accessed simply by swiping the room card. The gym is fully equipped and clean, making it easy to get in a light workout during our stay. The indoor constant-temperature pool has crystal-clear water and a comfortable temperature. The Hengqin Bay Water World offers a wide variety of activities—the lazy river is relaxing and cozy, while the wave pool is lively and fun, keeping the children thoroughly entertained. The guest rooms are spacious with relatively new furniture, and the soft bedding ensured a sound sleep for both the seniors and the kids. The rooms were spotless, the bathroom facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring we were not disturbed at night. The hotel buffet features a rich variety of fresh ingredients, catering to the tastes of both the elderly and children, offering light dishes as well as specialty seafood. The hotel shuttle bus provides direct service to all Chimelong theme parks, eliminating the need to hail a taxi and making getting around completely hassle-free. The hotel staff were friendly, housekeeping was prompt, and any requests were handled in a timely manner. With comprehensive facilities and a strong resort vibe, this is a top-notch choice for family travel and is well worth recommending.

Guest UserHad a wonderful two-night, three-day stay at the hotel.
First, I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, and our butler, Sini, was very thoughtful, providing ample warm reminders and responding super quickly. Other staff members we encountered also responded and resolved issues very promptly. The overall feeling the hotel gave was attentive and professional.
The hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained and nicely laid out. I heard it was fully booked one of the nights, but aside from the buffet breakfast being a bit crowded, it never felt overly busy. The hotel has a great resort vibe. It's a shame that with kids, there were many beautiful spots where we couldn't take good photos.
Buffet Breakfast: Rich and fresh. Freshly squeezed juices, Cantonese-style freshly made rice noodle rolls, Cantonese congee, chicken feet, Southeast Asian curry rice noodles, etc. You can even mix your own fresh fruit juices.
Buffet Dinner: Included in the Trip.com package. The drinks selection was extensive, with several beers, white and red wines, and even the option to mix your own cocktails. There were several types of shrimp and crab, not just one, plus grilled mini lobsters, oysters, scallops, abalone, and lamb racks. Everything I wanted was there, very satisfying.
A commendable point is how quickly food was replenished; we rarely had to wait.
The beach is clean and exclusive to the hotel, so it's not crowded. Besides the main pool, there's also a swim-up lane connected to the rooms, which was a joy for kids who love water. Over the three days, we switched between the beach and pool constantly, and my child didn't want to leave. If we come for a family holiday again, we'll definitely return here.
