"I used this hotel a week ago and chose it again for my return flight the next day, as it's close to the airport. Once again, I'm grateful they allowed me to check in quite early, giving me time to relax in the room before heading out for sightseeing without my luggage. Unfortunately, the escalator connecting to the hotel was still under maintenance and unusable. However, thanks to the friendly staff (at the front desk), my stay was so comfortable that this wasn't an issue at all. Upon checkout, a resort tax of $23.63 was charged (credit card only, no cash). Since it also offers good access to downtown, I'll definitely use this hotel again when I visit Vancouver."

"Quiet, good experience overall. The room size was just right for our family of three; the two double beds were perfect, and the mattresses were comfortable—not too soft or saggy. The staff were very helpful, there's a pool, and breakfast is complimentary. Check-out was quick and easy too. Everything was great, and it's super convenient for shopping and dining near the hotel."

Prior to our stay, we had informed the hotel of our late arrival outside the usual check-in hours and included some questions regarding Fairmont Gold services and benefits. Unfortunately, our follow-up email was overlooked, which led to some miscommunication during check-in. However, the customer recovery service was truly top-notch. The team handled everything professionally, responded swiftly, and resolved the issue efficiently — a level of service that truly reflects the standards we expect from a premium Fairmont Gold experience. We stayed one night in Fairmont Gold, and it was an absolute dream stay, especially for aviation enthusiasts. The views were perfect, and the Gold team’s service was exceptional. What impressed us even more was the Manager’s follow-through. He personally took the initiative to look into what had led to the miscommunication and came to apologise to us later in the day. During our stay, one of us was also feeling unwell, and when we happened to meet him in the lobby, he remembered us from our earlier interaction and kindly offered to assist by arranging some medicine for us. These thoughtful gestures truly reflected the genuine care and attentiveness of the team. Thank you, Fairmont, for turning what started as a small hiccup into a memorable stay. The premium paid for the Fairmont Gold experience was truly worth every penny, and we sincerely appreciate the hospitality. We look forward to returning again."

"My experience this time wasn't very satisfactory. Firstly, when I booked, I saw that the amenities included a laundry room, but there wasn't one after check-in. Secondly, there was road construction downstairs which severely affected my rest. They were still working outside at 11 PM, and started again around 6 AM, with a lot of noise. The service was good, and the hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-6 minute walk to the city center. Everything else was quite nice, it's just the road construction downstairs that impacted my stay."

"It's very peaceful and the hot springs are very comfortable. Looking at the snowy mountain tops in the distance, it feels like a fairy tale. The nearby scenery is also worth exploring. I encountered a small grizzly bear and a deer, and I want to go there again."

"We had a great stay! The location was perfect—right in downtown and within walking distance of many places. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and everything was comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool this time because we were short on time, so we’ll definitely be back to enjoy the facilities on our next visit!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, right around the corner from the Whistler Village Gondola (via exit B), and with the main entrance (exit A) for car drop-offs. Exit B leads directly to a pedestrian shopping street, just a few minutes' walk from the bus station. The hotel is divided into a South Tower and a North Tower. The South Tower features rooms with a fully equipped kitchen – we're talking a real home kitchen setup, complete with a dishwasher, induction hob, extractor fan, and all necessary kitchenware. It's truly rare to find a high-end hotel offering such amenities. What truly impressed me was their genuine recognition and treatment of elite members, even when booked through a third-party platform like Trip.com. For two guests, they provide a daily dining credit of CAD 24 per person (usable at their restaurants and eateries), complimentary Wi-Fi, and late check-out, among other perks. A special shout-out to Ms. Rosalie at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain how to best utilize our member benefits. This hotel is exceptionally friendly towards its elite members."
