The room was quite ordinary and simple, without anything particularly special or luxurious. However, it was clean and generally well maintained, which made the stay comfortable enough. The bed was fine, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient for our needs.
Housekeeping did a decent job, and overall cleanliness was acceptable throughout the stay. While the room design and facilities were fairly basic, it served its purpose well, especially for resting after a long day outside.
Overall, it was a reasonably comfortable stay. Nothing impressive, but nothing to complain about either. The cleanliness was the main positive point, and the room met our expectations for a standard stay.
I stayed here for 5 days, and there was no replacement of toilet tissue and towels until I contacted the WhatsApp service agent. The location is great, but there were no coffee capsules, instant coffee, or tea bags available, despite having a coffee machine and a kettle as typically provided in an apartment. When I requested the crooked toilet lid to be fixed, I had to wait until the last day (4 days in total) with no resolution, which posed a safety risk. Overall, the price is not cheap, and the service is mediocre.
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide advice and tips for our visit to Budapest.
We especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture for New Year's Eve: a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Additionally, we were provided with tea bags every day, which was a lovely touch.
Thank you so much for the warm hospitality! We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.
Unlike a four-star hotel, the three-star hotels are barely priced. There is no separate lobby in the entrance, the breakfast area is a small table, there is a damp smell in the bathroom, there is no central air conditioning, only small indoor air conditioning. Even the first air conditioner could not be used on the first night. There was no remote control, it was a power failure, and it was repaired the next day. Ctrip later coordinated my appeal. If there are certain requirements for quality, it is recommended not to order this so-called ”four-star” hotel, because it is really not a four-star, basically the standard of the guest house.
Emerald is very convenient with lots of shops and restaurants around, 6 min's walk to Central Market.
Staff is very helpful while the room is clean and spacious.
Most of all, they have a great breakfast with lots of choices and delicious!
I highly recommend staying here when you visit Budapest. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, and there's a Spar and a DM right across the street. The rooms are incredibly clean, and the front desk staff are warm and friendly. I was even able to check in early, which was a pleasant surprise!
First off, the hotel navigation was wrong. Luckily, a local helped me call the hotel, and they told me it wasn't the right place and was actually a few hundred meters away. Turns out there are so many hotels with this name! The front desk staff was nice; they let me check in early. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, quite spacious, and had everything I needed. However, the shower water was terrible – it kept switching from cold to hot, making it impossible to shower properly.
The room was nice; we booked a two-bedroom suite, and it was spacious. European beds are odd though, it's usually two 0.8m beds pushed together, leaving a gap in the middle. There are plenty of good restaurants near the hotel; we tried Vietnamese and Chinese food, both delicious. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and about a ten-minute ride to the main attractions. The room keys and locks are a bit old and broken; I'm not sure why they haven't switched to electronic locks. This area is the 7th district, and I noticed quite a few homeless people around. The surrounding neighborhood also has a run-down, Eastern European feel to it. I haven't stayed in other areas, so I can't compare. For a family trip, though, the value for money is absolutely excellent!
It's a great location in the heart of the city. Breakfast is decent. It's close to the city center, so outside restaurants are convenient. The facilities aren't particularly new, but they're clean. The rooms are very spacious.

SSuhaibx77I really enjoyed living there for a week. If you are wondering whether you should buy it or not i would strongly suggest you do. Everything is so close you can walk to all the attractions within 20 minutes. NewYork cafe is really really close. Only thing you need a bus is the fishermans castle.
The customer service is quick as well.
RRyan SchockThis was an excellent apartment! It had everything we needed- washing machine, fridge, microwave, etc. The balcony on the 2nd floor was great, good view of the moon. Had 2 big beds and 1 small sofa bed. The service was good, had someone to show you the apartment and answer questions. The TV had TONS of good channels- kids channels, news channels, history, etc. in several languages. I was very impressed with this place!
GGuest UserLocation is perfect, close to everything, lots of restaurants around, close to all main attractions, bus stops and train stations just cross the street. And the room is very spacious. The only thing is the check-in. The instructions was not very clear, had to take some time to sort it out.
GGuest User1. Check-in is a bit troublesome: --Download an app called Guestavisor, fill in information, and upload ID photos; --Go to the front desk to pick up your room key, which is about a 20-minute walk from the accommodation; 2. The building entrance uses a code system. After entering the code, you must push the door immediately when it beeps, otherwise it will lock; 3. The elevator is currently out of service, but many apartments are on the 3rd or 4th floor. Be cautious if you have large suitcases. If you need assistance, you need to make an appointment with the staff in advance; 4. Cleaning is not provided during your stay and requires an extra fee; 5. There are many trash cans on the first floor, which are quite smelly; 6. The location is excellent, with a very close tram. It's a little far from the subway station, about a 9-10 minute walk; 7. The room facilities are good, and the cleanliness of the apartment area is excellent. The apartment itself is fine, the heating is sufficient, and the Wi-Fi signal is good. In conclusion, considering the price and location, I shouldn't ask for too much. So I still gave it a high score. This is just to set an expectation for other people who want to stay here.

AAnonymous UserSandor is such a great and helpful host! The check-in process might be a little confusing for first-time travellers in Budapest—especially if you arrive after dark—so I highly recommend checking in during daylight hours. That said, Sandor is very responsive and available online to guide you if needed.
The apartment itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As a Muslim traveller, it was such a gem to find a halal Turkish eatery nearby—huge bonus!
The location is also fantastic—just a short walk from Astoria M station. It felt safe, even at 3:00am when I was out waiting for the 100E airport bus. Lots of people around, and the area is lively but not overwhelming.

ООксана ГрицковаThere were three of us staying here, and we absolutely loved the apartment! The location is superb, right near the city center, so there was no need to use the metro at all. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's a large heated towel rail, consistently hot water, and a big smart TV. The bed and even the sofa were already made when we arrived, which was a really nice touch, thank you! There's also a pretty spacious balcony accessible from both rooms. Parking is available for 15 euros/day. The only downside is that when you turn on the light in the toilet, the ventilation automatically kicks in for about 10-15 minutes. It's incredibly noisy – you can hear it even through two closed doors! Haha.
DDr. NourI stayed at King Apartment in Budapest and had a mixed experience. The location was convenient, but the apartment itself felt quite old and in need of renovation. The furniture and fixtures were dated, and the overall condition didn’t match the photos or expectations. The air conditioning was just average—barely enough during the warmer days. I initially raised my concerns with the host, and they mentioned possibly finding me another unit, but unfortunately, I never heard back from them. Communication could definitely be improved. With some updates and better follow-through, this place could offer a much more comfortable stay.
