Apartments in Grand Est, France

"Place is good location and convenient bc it has microwave and fridge. The shower / tub was weird bc the shower door was only halfway. The location was good bc it was next to many restaurants, a grocery store, and train station around 7 minute walk. I was there Saturday and Sunday and sadly most stores were closed on Sunday. I like the layout studio, but maintenance is poor bc the bathroom mirror was broken in some places, holes on the wall in the bathroom, mold near microwave. It’s clean but just keep those in mind. The receptionist I talked to Mario and the other guy didn’t get his name, but thankfully they both spoke English and were friendly to help."

"One of the strangest hotel I stayed. I've visited 21 European Country so far, but this hotel was quite different from the previous ones. Firstly, the check-in process was annoying. The woman in the reception told us that we would not be able to have the key of the apartment before 3 pm, which had been officially anounced. That was understandable. However, the woman at the reception could have been more polite. Furthermore, they asked us to fill out a form although she had already asked our personal information. There was no air conditioning at the reception desk but we had to spend time over there despite the extremely hot weather. After 3 pm, more than 10 people were waiting in front of the desk in order to collect the key of the apartments (havasız küçücük bir alanda)... Finally, it was our turn, they told us that we had to pay a deposit for 50€ (if we break anything in the apartment) and they told us this can happen. Ok, maybe it happened before but although I stayed in apartments more than 8-10 times (in different European countries), I've never encountered a policy like this. Apparently, they came up with a ”genius” policy that no other apartment I have stayed in across Europe has ever had. As a bonus, there is a sign inside the room: ”if you forget to clean the kitchen, we charge you with 15€”... Also, inside the room, there was no enough rack to put our luggages on.. Even if the room was clean, and the location was good enough, this apartment/hotel will be a place I never want to stay again..."

"This was a convenient and affordable hotel for us to stay at when we visited over Christmas. We would compare it to a university dorm experience but at least it is close to the train station (10 minute walk) and not too far away from the old town area (10-20 minute walk to most major attractions). The hotel breakfast is great if you like croissants and dairy products. There isn't much around the hotel and it is a bit of a walk to any stores or restaurants. There is a halal shop within a 5 minute walk so if you're here over Christmas that is convenient because most places are closed early Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The room had a decent bed that was larger than expected and it had two small pillows. The room also has a long desk area that has two closets for storage, a small TV and it was warm in December. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, small microwave, a two burner hot plate, a kettle and enough dishes for the two of us. We appreciated that they provided a kitchen sponge and a small container of soap. When we got the room all the dishes were a little dirty so we had to do some cleaning up before dinner. The bathroom was where we got the biggest dorm vibes from because it was a bit smelly when we arrived and that might be due to the hot water tank that had a leaky PSV. The shower was a bit small and while the head was adjustable, the bar grip was broken so we couldn't keep the shower head up high. There was some brown goo inside the shower and it could use a more thorough cleaning to help with the appearance and all. We were surprised that the hotel rooms didn't have a hair dryer or bottle opener. The Alsace region is known for wine so we were able to get a nice bottle but we had to go to the front desk to borrow the opener. Hair dryers are available from the front desk but it is worth asking for these early to make sure you get one in case you need it. They had luggage storage behind the front desk that we were able to use when we arrived and the day we left so we could maximize our time sightseeing. Visiting Strasbourg was fantastic and we would recommend this hotel if you're looking to save a bit while travelling through the area. We were happy with our stay and chose it because it also had an affordable breakfast option but we may look elsewhere if we return to Strasbourg."

"Nancy is quite a small town, so everything is within easy walking distance. This hotel is right next to the train station, yet impressively, the windows block out all the noise — well done on that. The hotel does have a few odd regulations though. If you check in after 7 p.m., they send you an access code by email to enter the building, and your key card will be waiting in an envelope inside a safety deposit box. I arrived late and was exhausted, so this “escape room” check-in system wasn’t exactly my favorite experience. They also ask guests to take out their own rubbish at checkout, otherwise there’s an extra cleaning fee. That said, the staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke both French and English, which made the stay a bit easier."

"It has a perfect location to visit Colmar. It has car park with enough space. Be aware of the city tax when you are checking in. Our room has its own kitchen (fridge, oven, cooker, washbasin). And it is covered in a closet which is very cool. We stayed in a room located in the ground floor. It has direct access to car park. The room was wide enough for 2 people. Bathroom was clean but was not new. One of the negative things I can say is that the room especially the floor of it was not warm enough. They didn’t clean and tidy the room and change the tea, coffee bags after each day. This disappoints me very much"

"Hotel is well located. Walkable to all main attractions within 30 mins. I would recommend to book a rooms with a balcony worth it. Few small supermarkets on a street and another one bigger in 10 mins walk. 15 min from Gare Saint Louis. Room was big and clean !!! Nobody cleans my room for entire stay. No housekeeping at all. That was pretty disappointed"

"Location is good for driving into Strasbourg. Ample of free parking around it in a safe neighborhood. Easy to get to city centre with the team. Clean and sufficient studio unit. Had a cosy stay. Breakfast can be better though."

"hotel tres bien placer nous y sommes aller pour le marcher e noel 2024 excellent emplacement plus besoin de prendre la voiture arriver la bas acceuil excellent j ai demander un lit double en commandant sur internet et cela c 'est realiser j ai apprecier merci encore . plateau d acceuil excellent !!!! nous avons dormi comme des bebe literie excellent ..... jy manquerais pas de faire decouvrir cette hotel a mes connaissance et familli meme si d apparence in paye pas de mine de dehors mais tout autre quand on y penetre"

"Hard to initial find a bit of the beaten track but has a lot of free facilities like swimming pool ,it has a sauna and message centre the only thing I didn’t like in my room was there was no shower curtains and the shower tray was flat to the tiled floor so you had to be careful no to get water everywhere."
