"Staying at Citadines Apart'hotel Hongqiao Shanghai was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and equipped with all the comforts of home. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the location was super convenient for getting around, yet surprisingly peaceful and pleasant. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and cozy, and the soundproofing was excellent. Check-in at the front desk was quick and polite. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and easy transportation nearby. It offers great value for money and I genuinely recommend staying here."

"Quite close to the metro station and to shopping mall area. Clean, big room, comfy bed, sofa etc. The only problem was that the 5G signal was weak in my room, but WiFi was quite fast. Also: washing machine is only available if you make a booking for at least a month worth of stay, so be careful when booking. It's weird, cause the washing machine is right there in the room, but the note attached to it says not to use it, so I didn't, even though the room description on trip.com says the washing machine is usable. I booked an option without a window, but was surprised to actually have a window with a so-so view. Maybe if you book the same option as me you won't get a window, so be careful."

"This place is right at 427 Fuyou Road, directly outside the Line 10 metro exit, literally just 10 meters away – super convenient! It's an economy room, and I even booked an extra one. It's a 15-minute walk to The Bund, and they offer free luggage storage. The room was clean and tidy, and the value for money is excellent."

"The place was really comfortable, and ordering takeout was super convenient – just leave a note, and they get it right. You need your room card to use the elevator, so make sure not to forget it! It's a good safety measure, and there are cameras in the hallways too. The room itself was very cozy, and well-equipped, which is why I extended my stay for another day, making it a three-night visit. Having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly handy. If it didn't have that, I honestly probably would have only stayed for two nights, but the laundry facility was a huge plus, and a big reason I stayed an extra day. The only drawback is that walking to the subway station can be a bit tiring. If you have the budget, a taxi is an option, but I didn't consider it at the time – most of my money was going towards food! So, I usually only went out closer to sunset when the temperature dropped a bit. It was just too hot during the day. Don't go out during the day on the 19th, Shanghai is scorching! I should have gone out later on my last night, the 19th, when I went to the Bund. My feet were so sore afterward because my itinerary was quite hectic, which also led me to extend my stay for another day. Be careful of the steps near the bed; you could easily trip, but don't worry, I never did. You get used to it after a day. Also, watch out for the lamp above the bed when you get up; you might bump your head. I was originally with my family, but they had to go back to work that night, so I stayed by myself. There are tons of takeout options nearby, and lots of delicious food. However, takeout generally takes about half an hour to arrive, which was quite noticeable. I doubt I'll be back in Shanghai for a second time anytime soon, probably several years from now, as I plan to explore other cities for my next trips. I didn't use the hotel's shampoo or shower gel, but I saw other reviews saying they were pretty good. As for cleaning, the staff (who finish at 6 PM) usually knock on your door around their shift end to ask if you want your room cleaned. If you're not there, they'll go in themselves, tidy up, and replace disposable items and towels. If you're heading out, just hang the 'Please clean my room' sign on the outside doorknob. When you return, your room will likely have been cleaned."

"Located in the heart of the bund. The place is nice, spacious and has a beautiful view during the day and night. And you can see sunrise too if you wake up early. 15 mins to metro/subway so for me is not that close, but if you like walking maybe is near. Close to union church, zhapu bridge, the rock bund all area like 10 mins by walk. North greenland need to take didi, otherwise you need to walk around 17-20 minutes. What I don’t like is the towel, they don’t provide real bath towel but they use like paper towel, I think that only need to update. Overall recommended"

"I stayed for six nights and seven days in Shanghai, and I spent all of them at this hotel. The experience was great; the cleanliness, transportation, and overall service were all good. "This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a minute's walk from Laoximen metro station. We stayed in Building B, and the entrance is somewhat hidden behind a fitness center. We arrived late at night, and there was no one at the front desk, so we had to search for the administrator for quite a while. The room was clean and had all the essentials (kettle, water, toiletries, hairdryer). On the third floor, there are washing machines, dryers, an iron, and a steamer available. For breakfast, you can head to Wagan cafe nearby. They offer European breakfasts and coffee, which is a bit pricey by Chinese standards but reasonable for us (up to 1200 rubles per person). Tourist attractions: They are just 1-2 metro stops away."

"I came to Shanghai to visit a friend, and as two girls, we were most afraid of choosing a 'catfishing' Airbnb, but this one truly surprised me. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was: it's spacious! The floor-to-ceiling windows let all the sunlight in, making the entire living room bright and airy. We spread our suitcases on the floor to pack and unpack, and there was still plenty of room to walk around, no need to squeeze past each other. The sofa was wide enough that we could sprawl out on it, eating takeout and binge-watching shows for an entire afternoon. What I liked most was the excellent attention to safety details. The windows had safety locks, so they couldn't be opened too wide; the cabinet doors all had soft-close hinges, so they closed gently without slamming. My friend said I was 'overthinking things,' but when you're staying alone somewhere, these details really add a lot of value. The kitchen, though small, had everything: microwave, induction cooker, pots, pans, and tableware. One evening, we bought frozen dumplings from the downstairs supermarket and cooked them, and my friend even fried two eggs. We sat at the dining table, eating and chatting, which was even more comfortable than eating out at a restaurant. The washing machine with a dryer was an absolute lifesaver. One afternoon, it suddenly rained, and we got two jackets soaked. We threw them in to wash and dry, and they were ready to wear out again that evening. No need to bring a pile of extra clothes; my suitcase felt half as light. At night, we dimmed the lights, turned on the projector, and snuggled on the sofa to watch a movie. With the curtains drawn, it felt like a mini-cinema. The subway station is right downstairs, it's a ten-minute bike ride to the Bund, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is within walking distance. The location is simply unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shanghai."
