It seems most people are just travelling through when they stay at this little 3 star hotel and restaurant. Every single interaction we had left us feeling happy and respected. Rooms are clean and well maintained and the cleaning staff are diligent. A brilliant (small) daily formulé de dîner has fish and meat options with a delicious desert. Waiters, receptionists, cleaners and the chef all deserve praise. Reasonably priced, this Campanile should be a destination.

Ce Mercure propose de bonnes prestations avec des chambres très grandes et un espace de vie confortable. La déco est assez triste dans les chambres mais la literie est top avec un écran tv géant. Salle de bain vieillissante à relooker. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Il y a un restaurant gastronomique attenant à l’hôtel où l’on mange vraiment bien. Le rapport qualité prix général est bon dans la moyenne supérieure des Mercure.

This hotel was quite a surprise. Owned by the same family for several generations, it is full of antiques, pictures, everything which a family may have collected over the years so it feels like you are staying a private home. The bedroom and bathroom were old fashioned but immaculately clean, good bedding, comfortable bed. The owner gives a very warm and personal welcome, he is proud of this gem of a place. It's not luxury but a great experience. We had breakfast in the stately dining room under the gaze of Stefan's great-grandmother the Comtesse.

Where do I start when it comes to singing the praises of this wonderful place. First and maybe foremost, Vincent is a great host and takes really good care of you. He is helpful and obliging in every way and remarkably responds to emails in a flash; we are so used to usually being totally ignored by French businesses on email. We only stayed for one night on a trip to the south of France from the Vendee. That was immediately our biggest regret as we would have loved to have stayed for at least two nights and will definitely do so on our next visit. The room was fantastic and all the considerable extras in terms of tea and coffee making facilities were superb. After a great sleep on a very comfortable bed, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast before setting off towards Carcossonne. This really is a fantastic place and I so look forward to enjoying a return visit.

Good for a rest

A proximité de l'autoroute, hôtel ancien mais tout à fait convenable qui dispose d'un ascenseur. Accueil très courtois, sympathique et poli de la gérante. Salle d'eau ＞＞ bac à douche très(trop) haut pour des personnes à mobilité réduite + manque 1 tablette pour déposer les affaires de toilette. Chambre petite mais très bonne literie. Les viennoiseries du p'tit déj étaient ”mollassonnes” (croissants + chocolatines). Quelques restaurants partenaires sont proches (on y va à pied) ＞＞ cuisine marocaine, chinoise et italo-gascon (attention, ils ne sont ouverts qu'en 2ème partie de semaine !). Malgré tout, nous y retournerons...
